James did work on our double back deck, which consisted of upper deck top banister replacement, floor board & partial banister replacement on lower deck, and power washing & repainting of both decks. "Third time that 858 flooring had done work in my house. Very satisfied with the bath room remodeling that they did. Grant and George do beautiful work. The walk in shower with sliding glass doors, accent stripes, niches, and marble pebble floor was exactly what I requested and their workmanship was superior. Everything else was done very nicely including the tile floor, bathtub installation and tile work, vanity installation including plumbing modifications for two sinks, sheet rock installation, toilet installation, etc. 858 flooring is meticulous in all aspects of the remodeling job. Each day they placed tarps over the floors and steps to protect them from dirt and damage during the remodel. Every evening the tarps were removed and all walkways were vacuumed clean. I plan to use 858 flooring for my next home improvement job."

"We hired Kitchen Savers to help remodel our kitchen. After a few delays due to COVID-19, work got under way June 1st. Hasan the installer was awesome. He spent 5 days in a row with us doing demolition, resurfacing the cabinets, installing the new oven/microwave, crown molding, etc. Kitchen Savers was very professional and nicely orchestrated their subcontractors (Rock Tops for the countertops, electrician for the under cabinet lighting, plumber to install the sink and garbage disposal, etc.). We are very pleased with the workmanship and the final outcome. Even when we had an issue with one of the cabinet doors a few weeks later, Kitchen Savers sent out a workman to rehang the door with a double hinge and solved the issue free of charge. The only negative comment is that while Kitchen Savers works with subcontractors for certain things (i.e. countertops, etc.), that is where things end. So you have new cabinets and new countertops, but no backsplash. That's kind of crazy. If you want a backsplash or wall tile between the countertops and cabinets, you are on your own to fine another contractor. Likewise for flooring. This caused some issues as our floor contractor wanted to demo the floor before the cabinet work was done and we had to do a bit of juggling. It would have been nice to have one main contractor who organized and scheduled all the subs."

"They promised to get done as quickly as possible since I had to move out of the house because I could not use the downstairs bathroom. They said it would take 3 days plus an extra day for the grout to harden and they finished. right on time. The bathroom looks wonderful. And I have to mention that they did a great job cleaning up afterward. Additionally, they came back a week later to install a new sink faucet, at which time they also installed grab bars in the shower and the new blinds in the bathroom window, all at no additional labor cost. We've been customers since they remodeled our kitchen in 2004 and will continue to do so. I don't want the cheapest work. I want the best. Thank you Gary."

"Joe Delfine from JD Michael Construction was the general contractor/project manager for a whole house renovation. Joe supported our process from pre-purchase of the house through the renovation and working the inspection list for our eventual sale. Joe managed every aspect of the renovation managing more than 25 subcontractors and a budget close to $150,000. This included formal renovation design, permitting, scheduling, subcontractor management, financial management procurement, scheduling, and safety and quality control. Joe's tenants of safety, quality and timeliness were key to our successful and profitable renovation. The job consisted of: design, complete demolition of the interior/exterior down to bare studs, demolition and removal of a two story concrete out building, procurement of materials and oversight for new siding and roof, all new windows, electrical and plumbing, subfloor repair and installation, new hardwood/carpet/tile flooring, new drywall throughout the entire house, paint, trim, cabinet/vanity installation, lighting, and more. This project was successful because JD Michael positively supported every aspect of the project. We are continuing to work with Joe/JD Michael Construction on another project as well as future projects."

"Scheduling appointment, measurements, and coming to terms handled easily and directly. Took them longer to get parts than they initially expected. At installation, they determined the sill of my shower should be repaired/refurbished prior to installing doors (they could not make that assessment until the old doors were removed. They did not insist, but recommended strongly repairing a few cracked tiles -- this was professional advise from the installer, which I took. We rescheduled the installation for the next week, I accomplished the repair myself over the weekend). The actual install found the shower walls were approx. 3/8" out of plumb -- but the installation went well. A slight miscommunication about final payment (I expected a final invoice, but did not receive one) was corrected with a simple phone call."
