First, you may have a crack in your foundation that you're concerned about. Next, a contractor might have proposed an expensive repair to your home stating that it was a structural issue. Finally, a home inspector might have noticed a structural defect in your home and recommended that a structural engineer look at it.\nThere are many good reasons to hire an engineer but the biggest advantage to a homeowner is that the engineer does not perform the construction work. Therefore a structural engineer does not have the conflict of interest that a contractor would have when recommending work. On the contrary, it is our goal to reduce construction costs to save you money while a contractor wants to increase construction costs to improve his bottom line.

I have over 25-years experience in the design of structures. No job is too small, so please fee free to call and discuss your issue. I'm happy to help with responding to a home inspection report, looking at foundation issues, etc. If your property or job is outside the area I have listed please feel free to give me a call to work something out. If I don't answer my phone, please leave a message and I'll get back to you within a day! I can also schedule appointments after 5:30p.m. during the week or on weekends if need be.
