I had an outstanding experience working with Pirmoz Structural Engineering. Pirmoz was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough from start to finish. He’s very nice and accommodating, and really takes the time to understand your project’s wants and needs. He balances the client’s vision with the county’s permit requirements, which gave me great peace of mind throughout the process. He’s also excellent at meeting deadlines and delivers exactly when he says he will. His attention to detail and expertise were evident in every step. On top of all that, he’s very responsive—always answers calls and is happy to explain things clearly. I truly couldn’t recommend him enough. Dr. Akbar Pirmoz was hired to evaluate the structure of my home in general. There seemed to be an abnormal number of cracks in the drywall in 3 rooms and nail pops. I felt confident in his analysis and recommendations going forward. He is certainly qualified, professional and personable. I appreciated his promptness, courtesy and reasonable fee. I highly recommend Akbar Pirmoz for any home structural engineering needs. I hired Mr. Pirmoz to assess whether a wall that I wanted to remove as part of a kitchen remodel was load bearing. Not only did Mr. Pirmoz make a thorough assessment, explain the basis for his determination (non-load bearing), and provide a written report, he alerted me to a separate issue he noticed with one of the exposed trusses in the ceiling. Mr. Pirmoz then coordinated with my contractor to reinforce the compromised truss, explaining to my contractor the materials needed and methods to follow in making the repair. Mr. Pirmoz was meticulous in ensuring that the repair was done to his specifications, which gave me confidence that the job was done right and the issue was corrected. Mr. Pirmoz was extremely responsive and provided his services at a very reasonable price. I would not hesitate to hire him again.
