"It didn't go well. I actually tried to find the stone elsewhere but couldn't. I wasn't happy with the customer service. After I decided to purchase it from United. We spent an hour measuring and taping the slab to make sure every vein was where we wanted it on the counter. But they did not cut it according to our measurements. Tim blamed it on the other department that cuts and installs but they are both it in the same place!! They can't communicate with each other? install was awful. Two men came that didn't care about my house or the install just wanted to get done and out as quickly as possible. Pushed the front door knob through the wall in hallway. Dented the front of my refridgerator with the counter top. Counter top wasn't cut correctly even though they charged $250 for a special measure. They couldn't lift the slab onto the cabinets and pushed it into place instead and bent my cabinet under the sink. My husband had to help lift it into place. They had to break through the drywall next to the counter so it would fit. The wall had to be repaired. The seam was done terribly. The supervisor who came to see the job fixed most everything after multiple visits except the veining and the refridgerator. They paid to replace the door on the refridgerator but I have to live with the veining because No one cared to do it correctly."
