I was very pleased with the efforts made by Meghan in their sales office. She locate the right granite to match well in my room and also offered suggestions on where to purchase a bisque colored coordinating sink and faucet since I did not want the stainless steel they offered. She was very patient with me in developing the template for my slab and also assisted with the full back splash I decided to add. Workers arrived timely and my new kitchen looks lovely.

Working with everyone, from sales, scheduling and installation was a great experience. The team was very responsive when I had a question prior to installation. The crew showed up on time and did a great job. Very professional.

Top-notch service and quality of workmanship and product. Everyone we dealt with, from salesperson Farah and her supervisor Meghan, who took us several times on different days through the warehouses to look at the many granite types, gave us samples to take home, and eventually wrote up our order; to the workers who pulled 5 or 6 slabs from a stack to enable us to choose the two we liked best for our project; to the templaters Ege and Adam (hope I got their names right) who accurately measured our kitchen in preparation for the fabrication; to the unnamed artist who gave us a couple of nice options on how to cut and lay out the five pieces of granite required to fabricate our counters from the two slabs we chose; to the fabricators that did a fine job of cutting and polishing the granite; to the very competent installers whose names I have forgotten: all were highly professional, courteous and responsive. They answered all our questions and did everything they said they would, exactly when they committed to do it. And the price was very fair and reasonable for such a high quality product and installation.

The granite is beautiful. Classic Granite and Marble had an excellent selection and patiently took me through all of their inventory until I found something that would match my kitchen cabinets and style. They were very detailed on every aspect of the granite including sending photos of the various ways the granite could be cut for countertops and a kitchen island to best show the granite pattern. The installation was on the date promised, and the installers were very professional.

The process went well. The planning was well done; we got to inspect and mark the slabs of granite that we selected in the warehouse. Their installers showed up on schedule, and were very knowledgeable. They removed the old countertops and installed the new countertops within 3 hours. The only issue was that I did not realized that two of the 3 countertop sections where pieced together, rather than single pieces of granite. Where they join, the granite patterns do not match. Looking back, I realized that the picture of the granite sections that they provided did in fact show the seams, but I wasn't knowledgeable enough to realize that fact, partly because of the low quality of the images they showed us. And they did not point out to us that there would be seams, even though we had initially discussed this with the sales person, that we expected there to be no seams. A perfect score would have been earned had they told us that, and we could have then made an informed decision on how to proceed.

Excellent! Thoroughly executed from start to finish. I appreciated the detailed estimate from the beginning, a free service that some other companies were not willing to do. Staff members were attentive in answering questions and communication was good throughout the process. I couldn't be happier with the finished product. For other customers who might be interested in waterfall edges (mitered corners), for a modern effect - this was an important part of our project and Classic did an amazing job. I plan to use them again for bathroom counters.

CClassic Marble and Granite delivered and installed three quartz counter tops in our new kitchen and one quartz counter top in our master bathroom. On the appointed day (1/12/17) Classic sent a representative to measure for the new countertops and agree on the details of the installation with our general contractor (Axiom Construction). The agreed upon drawings and templates (at the end of this document) included a kitchen sink countertop with a single seam under the main water faucet in the center of the countertop over the farm sink, which Classic stated was necessary to reduce the risk of stone breakage during installation. Classic returned again for a second set of measurements on 1/16/17. Shortly before the installation occurred on 1/19/17, Reico’s office manager, Kathy Branet telephoned and informed the authorized representative waiting for the installation with the general contractor that there was going to be a change from the agreed upon stone configuration. Ms. Branet stated that Classic had to alter the single seam above the center of the farm sink to a ‘bridge’ of two seams above each rear corner of the sink. She continued that the stone was too weak to install according to the original plan and offered a highly pressured assurance that the two seams would be ‘virtually invisible’. Because the decision to change the plan had already been made, there was no opportunity to refuse to authorize the change and the representative agreed to the change with the provision of virtually invisible seams. The counter top installers arrived on schedule and installed the master bathroom and two kitchen countertops. The third countertop over the kitchen peninsula cabinet was returned to the Classic facility for rework to accommodate a down-draft vent/hood cut that the installers didn’t feel they could accurately accomplish on-site. At the end of that day’s work, the installers had installed two of the three kitchen countertops, returned one to the shop for rework and incorrectly drilled the master bathroom countertop faucet holes. That evening, after inspecting the countertops, the homeowner contacted Reico’s kitchen designer, Natalie Williams and requested replacement of the kitchen sink countertop stating that it had highly visible seams, stone grains that did not match and requested replacement (pictures at the end of this document). The next day (1/20/17) Classic Granite and Marble replaced the defective bathroom countertop and installed the peninsula/cook-top countertop with the down-draft hole cut out. In response to our complaint, Ms. Williams informed Classic of our replacement request and she photographed the kitchen sink countertop during a site survey on 1/24/17. On 2/1/17 Ms. Williams forwarded an email response from Classic that Classic refused to replace the countertop because it was “industry standard.” The email explained that Classic “cannot what they call “Book Match” most tops. Only special colors with the Dekton or Ceasarstone material. Which they charge extra to do. They say that the seam on the top is within industry standard & they cannot change the entire top out because of this. They also said that the seams can never be determined at template only suggested. I have attached a picture from your file showing your top before it was cut” Thanks, Natalie After great insistence that the countertop be replaced, Classic sent a representative (who had no authority to replace the countertop) to the meet with us on 1/30/17 to further discuss the complaint. Classic’s customer relations representative took photographs of the countertop seams and stood by Classic’s claim that the seams were ‘industry standard’, he also stated that the ‘cut plan’ was formulated to minimize waste and could be altered by Classic at any point in the process (insinuating that they didn’t need our approval to do so). It became obvious that Classic was not going to take responsibility for the ugly product result and had wasted everyone’s time with the appointment. Another denial for replacement came through Reico and a request for the appeal process to Classic was never answered. In summary, of the four counter tops installed by this contractor, only one was acceptable after the first attempt, two were made right with a schedule delay, and the third was replaced by the homeowner at an additional expense of $2,700.00 because Classic Granite and Marble would not stand behind their work and the project was behind schedule. There was an obvious lack of concern for customer satisfaction vs Classic’s priority for cost and material savings. Not only did Classic deliver an inferior quality product, they compounded the difficulty by sending a representative who wasted the time of the homeowner, the general contractor and the homeowner’s representative. This unacceptable product installation experience combined with a highly pressured conversation on the day of install to change the plan only for Classic’s benefit is extremely disappointing. On 2/8/17 Axiom’s alternate countertop supplier replaced the Classic countertop with a beautiful stone with NO SEAMS for $2,700.00. Pictures of the replacement countertop are at the end of this document.

Classic was spectacular to work with. As I called and spoke to reps of other fabricators, their sales person, Jean, was by far the most responsive and proactive. She called me to follow up, and provide personalized attention. While they were quite a bit more expensive than the competitors who did call me back, they offered a better service and product, specifically confirming that they could cut the countertops with fewer seams than the other companies (which was the reason for the higher price, and was well worth it). It was not an easy job; we needed two slabs, which we acquired from another stoneyard, and one of the two broke in the fabrication. Classic ordered another slab, but that one had cracks, and then they sent their own team to the stoneyard to personally ensure a good, solid slab. Their installers did a terrific job, take care moving the counters through the house, installing them, and drilling the cut-outs carefully. They consulted with me throughout, and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. A tough job, a fair price, and excellent service and workmanship!

Classic Granite was outstanding.  My contractor, Anderson Woodworking and Remodeling, use them.  I first went to the showroom and worked with Jean.  She was hugely helpful, knew her granite, and was able to show me the actual slab possibilities.  After taking home some samples and making my selection, I again met with Jean and she helped me pick the actual slabs that would be used.  I brought a piece of bathroom tile with me and she immediately suggested another particular granite that would be perfect for the vanity.  What a match!  I let my contractor know that I had made my selection.  A week later, Classic sent the man who did very thorough measurements and made the templates.  I then received two potential color layouts to choose from giving me a great idea of what the actual granite slabs I had picked would look like.  I selected my layout.  The granite would then be manufactured and installed on the 27 January.  Unfortunately due to the snow event they had to postpone to Saturday the 30th.  The installers arrived a few minutes after their two hour window but they communicated that they were delayed.  They worked very hard to get everything perfect.  Unfortunately after 4 plus hours of work, a critical mistake was made--the kitchen faucet hole was drilled off center.  The installer assured me it would be corrected.  I assumed they would plug the hole somehow, but the company decided that piece needed to be completely replaced.  On Monday, within a few hours Toni, who works with my contractor had found another slab of the same lot and color; and Al, with a wonderful eye, figured out how to piece the new replacement to match the existing granite.  Jean, meanwhile reassured me that it would be fine.  On Wednesday the 3rd of Feb, the installers returned, cut the flawed piece out and put the new piece in, then drilled a perfectly centered faucet hole!
I so appreciated the customer service I received throughout this process.  Everyone I had contact with was professional and helpful. Of course I was disappointed when the mistake was made because everything else was so perfect, but Classic Granite made it right and it is absolutely beautiful.  Clearly they stand by their work and I would recommend them to anybody.

I am unfortunately very late in completing this review but want to say nonetheless that I had an excellent experience with these guys. I had gotten an estimate from Home Depot which I thought to be high, so I checked Angie's List and called them. The owner came out himself because the service person scheduled to come out was sick that day. He was very efficient and informative -- and he gave me an estimate that was less than HALF what Home Depot proposed -- and the selection was better and more attractive.
He brought samples with him initially (which he left with me to show my husband) and also said I could drive to the showroom to see the larger slabs and pick my own out  as well as choose my faucet. I did visit the showroom and was very happy with the quality and result. It was installed on time (within 2 weeks), and I have been very pleased ever since.
I've had people come to my house and comment on how precise and seamless looking the job is compared to their experiences with granite counter tops where you can see the corner seams clearly. I've probably sent 4-5 people to this company in the past 18 months just because you can't beat their quality or their service -- and their price is extremely reasonable. I have gotten similar feedback from the people I referred to them saying that they were also very pleased.  My only regret is that I forgot to review them sooner.
You really can not go wrong with these people.

We are very pleased with Classic Granite & Marble - professional from start to finish.  We were looking to replace our existing island countertop with a new granite countertop.  We visited the showrooms and warehouses of 5 granite businesses in the area and chose Classic Granite as they had a large selection of granite slabs and had very good reviews on Angie?s list.  We walked through the warehouse to see the slabs, all marked as to price grade.  Once we made our selection, we were shown three different slabs of that stone to choose from.  We were then able to specify which corner of that slab would be ours and then the stone was tagged for us. Rosa, our salesperson, worked with us to finalize the purchase, including an undermounted sink, and scheduled measurement and installation dates.  Eric arrived at our home just a week or so after that and made his measurements with lasers and a laptop.  A few days later we received an email with the cutout drawing and then a second email with a photo of the actual stone showing where it would be cut and where the sink cutout would be.  I really liked that as we wanted the sink in a particular spot on the granite to preserve some of the beautiful lines in the stone.  Once we approved the drawing, the stone was cut that day so installation could be done as scheduled the following week.  The two man installation team headed by Carlos was very professional and careful with our cabinets.  They covered the floor with protective sheets and worked carefully to remove the old granite countertop that had been glued in more places than they expected.  Once removed, they brought in the new countertop (beautiful!), placed it correctly and mounted the sink under the granite.  They cleaned the slab, sealed it and picked up all the protective coverings.    We were impressed with how careful they were, and there was not any damage to our cabinets or floors.
We highly recommend Classic Granite & Marble.  They had a great selection, knowledgeable personnel, and delivered on time with a beautiful product.  We couldn?t be happier.

I bought through Somerville Showroom that told me that I would get a contractors discount and that it would be less expensive to go through them.  In the end I thought the price was a little high for a small bathroom vanity maybe it was marked up-I don't know for sure.
When I called Classic Granite and Marble, it seemed like I always was speaking to another person who I had to explain things to.  I had to call multiple times to get the time slot of countertop measure and also the install.  One lady who answered the phone could not hear me and could not find me in her computer system and it was frustrating.
The measure guy was EXCELLENT and knew what he was doing and he did it by laser measurement and computer.  He was a pro.
The telephone service could be better and the scheduling for time slots could also be better.
The final end product of Cambria Quartz is EXCELLENT quality and the install was went VERY WELL.  I paid an extra $200 to get the small countertop installed.  The installers came late since they were running a little late but they got the small job done very quickly.  The final price included the $200 install fee.
Over all things went OK but I thought the price was a little high.

Classic was recommended by our designer.  We found their inventory of granite to be very good at reasonable prices.  They were prompt for the template and removal and install of the counter top.  Their counter top install team are excellent craftsman at their trade and efficient users of time, very neat and clean up after themselves..  Where we ran into a problem with Classic was the re-connection of our plumbing after the install.  The counter top team left at approximately 3:15 pm on Monday.  They said the plumber would be by to take care of re-connecting the plumbing that afternoon.  Unfortunately, he never showed up.  I called the next morning and they had no idea what had happened.  After my initial call, I was contacted and promised the "plumber" would be by after 4 pm on Tuesday to hook things back up.  At 3:27 pm we received a call from Classic saying their "plumber" would be delayed until after 6 pm and that he would call when he was 30 minutes out.  At 6:24 pm I called Classic to see where he was.  I was surprised they answered the phone, but they did.  Their rep got the "plumber" on the phone and he said he was tied up at an earlier appointment and might not be able to come until after 8 pm.  I told the rep, that he could come the next morning at 9 am.  I was told after being without water in the kitchen for 28 hours that things didn't work that way, he had appointments they would do their "best".  Approximately 35 minutes later I received a call from the "plumber".  He said he would be here in 15 minutes or so.  He arrived about 7:15 pm.  In talking with him I found out he wasn't a "plumber" after all, but the Service Manager.  After about an hour he had everything re-connected and we tested and observed for leaks, which did seem to occur.  He was then on his way and we could finally put things back together.  So we started at 9:15 am on Monday morning and it took until approximately 8:15 pm Tuesday for things to be back to normal.  The lesson I learned from this was they are great at granite, lousy at making sure they customer is whole when they finish, and they might answer the phone if you call after they close.
They sell good quality granite and their technicians associated with that part of the business are really great!  I will consider them next time to supply the granite, but since the "plumber" that works for them really isn't a plumber, but a Service Manager, won't consider them for a second shot at plumbing work.

Response from Classic Granite & Marble
"I appreciate the feedback. We will improve our plumbing service. We used to hire outside plumbers and ran into similar issues, i.e. plumbing contractor showing up late or the next day. So, we decided to hire our own licensed plumber in order to have control over keeping appointments, For the most part we have been successful but your case was an exception and I deeply apologize for the inconvenience."
