"I hate to write reviews unless they are glowing. But I hired this company because they could come out sooner than the others. However, the other companies were giving me quotes and this company would not until they got here. It was to replace my kitchen faucet. The plumber did not realize there was a tightening screw to hold it to the sink, and scratched up my sink thinking it was glued on. Also, as a side note, I asked him to check a toilet that was running slow. He changed out the back flapper unit (not even the entire unit) and charged a crazy amount. I have changed those out myself, but he had done the work before I realized it. And it did not even help the issue. Turns out I need a new toilet because something is jammed in the old one. I have hired Horizon to do that work. I just think it's worth while to push for a quote BEFORE they show up- at least for simple things like this. more complicated issue, I can understand it would be more difficult to quote unseen."

"I called Day & Night Plumber again because I had a good experience with their plumber Lal last time. His brother Saul(?) came this time to replace the toilet. As the brother, he explained everything in detail and did the job carefully. There was a little communication problem at the beginning. I called in for a toilet replacement two days earlier and instructed them to come with a specific toilet that I want from Home Depot. I texted the dispatcher the screen shot of the product from Home Depot's website and got her to confirm the job. But the plumber apparently did not get the information so he had to go out to get the toilet which added an extra hour to the job. But overall I like this company. It's small the job quality is consistent. The price is also reasonable. Will hire again for sure."

"I contacted Rema on Saturday. He got back and came on the next day. He removed his shoes. He installed a new flush valve that I supplied. He had to replace the existing fill valve. The existing fill valve would not fit the new flush valve. He clean up and there were no problems. It worked fine."

My experience with VKB was excellent from initial design with Sean, thru implementation of the new bathroom. VKB is a one stop shop, they design the new bathroom including picking tile, floor, toilet, sinks, hardware, cabinets in the store. They meet with you at home, create a schedule and assign a Project Manager. Jason was our PM and he was fantastic. He kept his team on schedule, kept in constant communication with us, let us know what was happening next for the entire job. They were clean, organized, trustworthy and very skilled. We could not be happier… (and we are not relatives or friends of VKB, we are random homeowners who chose them based on Yelp ratings etc)."
