Cardigan Kitchens and Baths

Cardigan did a great job in my upstairs bathroom from the office staff to the workers who did all the installations. They replaced the floor, toilet, sink and vanity. They were always professional and showed up when they said they were coming. They also replaced 6 doors upstairs and downstairs. They also installed a new microwave for me and a new light fixture and faucet in my downstairs bathroom. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for bathroom work. I am already getting ready to use them again in my kitchen this time.

It was great. They are going to do some additional work in the bathroom in two more weeks. They were very friendly. They were very responsive to our requests. They showed up when they were supposed to. They did a good job. So far, the work is fine. I would recommend them.

In our first meeting, Jim was very attentive and applied his experience and enthusiasm to help us come up with a detailed plan. In addition to his many photos of clients' new kitchens and baths, one can examine his work on display in their showroom, and see and touch the features he is describing. I was relieved that Jim was willing to incorporate elements from other suppliers beyond the brands of cabinetry and tile that he himself represents. The whole crew was extremely pleasant and professional: they showed up when promised and worked very efficiently. Kim is a great scheduler: the job was on time and on budget. Their attention to even unseen details was really impressive: reconfiguring the framing so that grab bars could take some weight, and the medicine cabinet would finally be flush to the wall; trimming the door to clear a rug and also look right as you come up the stairs; even replacing the old insulation in the exterior wall. This was much more than just a makeover. The process went extremely smoothly, and we are thrilled with the result. Thanks, Cardigan, and thanks, Angie's List!

I live in a levitt home in Bowie and had a problem with my washing machine backing up. I called my neighbor and she recommended cardigan plumping she told me to ask for Robbie. Robbie came to my house he was very punctual and courteous. He explained to me everything that he did. I highly recommend Robbie. Cannot say enough nice things about him.

It didn't go well. The person that came out to give us the initial estimate for the work said he could not replace the door with the same type of door because the type of door wasn't made any longer and we would have to settle for a new door that didn't match the other doors in our house. The next day I went to the home depot and immediately found the exact matching door we needed so obviously the Cardigan estimator didn't know what he was doing and was completely wrong in the information he provided. Again the first store I went to (Home Depot) had the matching door we needed. I was completely disappointed in Cardigans incompetence. I informed Cardigans that I found the door we needed and the door was purchased from the Home Depot.
Two people came to do the work requested. One of the workers was rude and made inappropriate comments to me that was heard and supported by the other worker. It was not a good experience. Also they put in a two piece door sill that was hard to walk over so I had to have one of the pieces removed so it is easier to walk on but doesn't look good. Cardigan's should have been able to come up wlth a better solution. I would not recommend Cardigan's to do work for anyone.

It went great.  They were easy to work with.  They were flexible. 

.They did a grand job. Haven't had any problems since. Service was exceptional, when considering remodeling again chose them, One of the crewman was a protectionist. Great finishing work. Came in did the job and left, nothing out of line

We were very pleased with them.  It went very well.  What stood out to me was that they were very clean, they cleaned up after themselves.  They were on time. 

They were real quick. The attentiveness in terms of the design and the owner being responsive made it a positive experience. Their pricing was competitive. Their workers were professional and on time. When we needed something redone, in other words, just like a small adjustment made or something, they did that. It was good communication throughout among the employees. We only compared it against one other business.

They did a great job. They did it in the time frame that they said they would do it, and there were no hidden costs or no additional costs, so it was good. They didn't put the counters. The price was competitive, it was good.

They did my neighbor's kitchen and they highly recommended them. They're local. It was fine. I'm very happy with them. I've recommended them to a number of people who also have been very pleased with them. It's a brother and sister who run the business and they're very honest with you. When I was looking for something and the sister said that it would be cheaper if I go to get the wall put in than to order something from their catalog. They're very upfront. They don't try to gouge their prices. They try to give you something quality. They don't push to take more money and that's the one I really liked about them. They've been in business awhile. The company has been in the family for a while and they have good people working for them, people you don't mind having in your house. They're very polite and likable people. They're also plumbers. I feel you get a lot of quality for the money you pay. I had other estimates the first time. I feel that you get what you're paying for. They're definitely professional. They're really good. I've used them for plumbing.

Service was excellent! Showed up on time, very quickly diagnosed and fixed problems with the leaky soaking tub and with a dripping shower head, both of which turned out to be minor (I was expecting much worse with the tub), and installed two new toilets. Would definitely use them again.

Whenever you need somebody they are here quickly. They get the job done. The price is reasonable. The guys they send out are great. We have been using them for twenty or more years.

They are dependable and they do exactly what they said. They are very neat. When they give me a timeframe they are always on target and extremely dependable. I have no complaints. When I was shopping for excessories they even helped me find the best price and installed them for me.

Robbie arrived on time and did a great job. He was friendly and he had a good theory for why we have had the same blockage problem twice within a 3 1/2 year time span (when pipes are connected during construction, they don't smooth out the inside of the pipe and can cause items to get caught on the rough surface, eventually causing blockage). He was efficient and worked cleanly.

Jim Schultz is the owner. He was confident. He was good in walking us through the plan. He was really good. I would use him in the future.
