"About three months ago, I purchased a blown glass lamp shade suspended on a wrought iron pendant. As originally installed, the light hung down 30". This was too long (as short as I am, I could see the lights inside). Able replaced the original pendant with one that resulted in a final length of 24" -- a great improvement. The electrician arrived a few minutes early (preferred to arriving late) and he wore shoe covers upon entering the house (appreciated given the amount of rain we've had lately). Although he received two calls from Able pertaining to other jobs during my installation, he still completed the task within the hour I paid for. One strange thing about Big Deal fulfillment: when I previously purchased these, they were pre-paid, with Angie's collecting the money and distributing it to the contractor. Apparently, this no longer happens. WHY? It was a great convenience to the customer."

"Juan arrived a bit later than expected but got to work and did the jobs, running to Home Depot for needed parts which I didn't know we needed. He explaned things to me and knew what he was doing. He did all the jobs I outlined and left with everything working. He was cooperative in pointing the kitchen track lights where I wanted the to shine. He then looked at the plumbing job (vanity install) and realized that the vanity I bought wasn't a feasible option because of the direction of my pipes (to the side and not the back) therefore needing to go right through the drawers! I have returned the vanity to Home Depot! He didn''t waste time talking to me but did talk to himself (or on his phone ) while he worked! He cleaned up his dust and debris well, Satisfied with his cost which really should have been higher when I thought about it later. I would use him again if he was from near Frederick, but he came from Baltimore! I'd rather use local tradesmen...."

The price he quoted was $700.00 less then Mr. Electric. The work was completed the next day. They electricians were great. The only reason I didn't give an "A" on quality is because when they replaced a GFI with a new bright white switch, they left the old dingy ivory switch plate on it. It is a totally eye sore. i would have paid the extra for a new white switch plate. I didn't notice it until they left. I would have certainly said something. Great job over all. I would use again!"

"I was very pleased with the high quality of work from Fidel. He was insightful in helping us decide on the type of paint to get as well as choosing a color scheme that would create an accent wall and make the rooms look like something out of an HGTV magazine. He was meticulous in painting the trims and worked clean and efficient. He finished all the work on painting work on time which helped us get our tenants in sooner. Earl was so accommodating and made sure to come the next day after I called him, all for a reasonable price. Can't beat that! Then Earl hung a new hanging light fixture in my double entry foyer. It was difficult to find a ladder to reach that high and Earl looked all around the greater Baltimore Annapolis area to find one. (Note that 3 electricians basically said it was impossible without scaffolding and wanted to charge 3 times Earl's rate). Earl really is terrific and is my go-to handyman!"
