The stairs they put in at first unfortunately did not match the floors nor the existing railing. This made me a bit nervous at first, because often times you don't know if you've hired a good company until something goes wrong. When we brought up the problem, BR flooring stood behind their work and completely sanded and refinished the steps to match the existing railing as we originally wanted and everything came out well in the end.
