Grant and George were amazing! I’m So happy we went with 858 for our master bathroom remodel. They actually care about the project and every detail. I couldn’t be happier with the finished result. They stayed on schedule, cleaned up throughly daily and paid attention to every detail. We will definitely be using 858 for our future projects!

We were EXTREMELY pleased by the work done for us by 858 Flooring! Grant is a perfectionist, who pays attention to every detail of the job. Our house that is over 100 years old, so there were several "challenges" in the installation of ceramic tile in our large kitchen, laundry room and powder room. Grant and his co-worker, George, spent a great deal of time leveling the floor in all 3 rooms, to provide an excellent installation. They also installed a new toilet and vanity in the powder room, along with half-wall beadboard and amazing trim work. All perfection! They took care when clearing the rooms, moving our appliances and large kitchen table. Everything was done with attention to the items, but also for leaving things within easy reach for our use during the project. Grant is a talented and creative installer, carpenter, and woodworker. He carved beautiful new wooden transition pieces for the three doorways that were involved. He and George also were able to trim down the doors as needed, and make sure that everything functioned flawlessly. Throughout the project, Grant kept us informed of what they were doing. He asked for our suggestions and made sure that we were "kept in the loop" as the installation progressed. He and George were courteous, reliable, and professional. At the end of the installation, they cleaned everything and took away all debris. We were left with a beautiful new floor in all 3 rooms, as well as a lovely powder room. Excellent work - we can't recommend 858 Flooring highly enough!

Grant and George did an impeccable job installing new floors in our living and dining rooms. In just a day and a half, they completely transformed the look of our home. They expertly laid vinyl plank in the dining room and carpet in the living room--where they also created a separate foyer area out of vinyl plank that elevates the room to a whole other level. They were super easy to communicate with, before and during the job, answering all our questions and providing clear, itemized estimates. They worked together seamlessly and completed the job to perfection. We could tell they really cared about the result being beautiful and high-quality. They moved our furniture carefully (including a piano) and consulted with us any time there was an issue to be decided. Flooring can be an intimidating job, but Grant and George made it easy and fun because we had total confidence in their abilities. We look forward to hiring them again in the near future!

Third time that 858 flooring had done work in my house. Very satisfied with the bath room remodeling that they did. Grant and George do beautiful work. The walk in shower with sliding glass doors, accent stripes, niches, and marble pebble floor was exactly what I requested and their workmanship was superior. Everything else was done very nicely including the tile floor, bathtub installation and tile work, vanity installation including plumbing modifications for two sinks, sheet rock installation, toilet installation, etc. 858 flooring is meticulous in all aspects of the remodeling job. Each day they placed tarps over the floors and steps to protect them from dirt and damage during the remodel. Every evening the tarps were removed and all walkways were vacuumed clean. I plan to use 858 flooring for my next home improvement job.

They were not only awesome at doing the work that I hired them for but also at protecting my existing carpet in the process! They are very knowledgeable, hardworking and just really nice guys.

Once again, 858 Flooring did not disappoint. Previously they had remodeled two bathrooms, a laundry room and now a kitchen wall backsplash . In addition they repaired a ceiling that had suffered water damage from a leak.

Another fantastic job by 858 Flooring. Five years ago they installed hardwood floors in the living room, dining, hall and foyer and carpet on the stairs and office ... perfect installation. Last week they installed luxury vinyl planks in the kitchen which required moving the fridge, stove and pulling the dishwasher. They moved all with great care and even ran the dishwasher to make sure there were no leaks. They picked out the perfect- colored transom strips between the dining and living room floors. Grant and George are a pleasure and easy to work with and take great care to protect your house and surrounding furniture. They are true craft men who take pride in their work.

These guys were hands down the best contractors I've ever hired. They worked with me to research a solution to a flooring problem I had in my basement. None of the other contractors who bid on the project were willing to do that. The installation was perfect and their attention to detail was obvious. Every time an issue came up during the installation, they found a workable solution. I can't say enough good things about my experience with this company.

All aspects of the job were performed superbly. The workmanship was excellent and meticulous. The job was very well planned out before the first board was placed which made the new floor fit in well with the adjacent flooring. All of the work was done with precision and everything fit very well. The inevitable "problems" that pop up during these kind of jobs were quickly identified and adjustments were made to ensure that the completed job would look professional and not have any clunky "band aids. Attention to detail was a hallmark of the work performed. Things like arriving on time every day, completing the work in the scheduled time frame, cleaning up thoroughly at the end of each day, protecting furniture and surfaces from saw dust, packing up left over materials for storage, and removing waste materials. 858 Flooring has high quality workmanship combined with overall professionalism that makes them an excellent choice for any home remodeling job.

This is the second time 858 Flooring completed work for me. I sadly had tile removal to address a water issue, and needed the tile replaced (they had previously installed the tile perfectly). We also decided to install a tile backsplash while they were there. Grant provided an estimate within a few days of contact and started work within two weeks. Grant and George are great about drop clothing the walkways to the work area and cleaned up each day. I love that they are open to tile suppliers, but are willing to share their suggestions. They will certainly be the company that will complete our bathroom remodel when we are ready. They are extreme pet-friendly/pet-patient which I greatly appreciate.

I used 858 Flooring & Remodeling to replace 1,000 sq/ft of basement flooring. I had 3 different types of flooring (tile, laminate, and carpet) and there was a lot of demo work to be done (including 400+ sq/ft of well stuck 8x8 tile). The estimate process with Grant was great. He broke the estimate down with a lot of options for services. This helped us decide what we were going to do on or own vs pay to have him do for us. He also had great suggestions on what type of flooring material we could use that would be most economical. I really appreciated his forthright estimating process. We went with 858 Flooring & Remodeling for two reasons, the price was reasonable, and we wanted a service provider that specialized in flooring. Between scheduling the service and the day Grant started, he was always available for questions and very clear on his instructions on the amount of materials I should purchase ahead of time. On the day the service was scheduled to begin, Grant arrived at the time he told me to expect him and his colleague George came soon after. Grant and George were at my place for 6 days and they demoed 1,000 sq/ft of flooring, leveled the concrete, fixed some larger issues with the concrete, put down new vinyl plank and floorboard and shoe molding. They were both a pleasure to work with, let us know when they were about to do something that would limit our access to areas of our house, and were always willing to talk through potential issues. When extra services were needed due to the condition of our concrete floor, Grant always offered different options and was upfront about what the additional cost would be. Most importantly, the quality of their work was first-rate. From protecting my furniture from dust due to the tile demo, to prepping the floor, to laying the vinyl plank and floorboards, everything was done very very well. The floorboards and shoe molding especially are perfectly aligned and finished off everywhere you look. I had a great experience working with 858 Flooring & Remodeling and would highly recommend them.

Grant and George did a great job installing our floors. We had hardwood floors installed throughout our first floor townhome. Grant was very patient with us and answered all of our (many) questions as we decided on a flooring. He was very transparent with pricing, providing a detailed quote. He was responsive to emails, and communicated when running late. The work was done very well, with a good explanation of what they were doing and great attention to detail. The new floors look great. Really great company to work with.

858 Flooring replaced an old shower with a new tiled shower and shower base and retiled the bathroom. They did great work and were very detail oriented. They also replaced plumbing fixtures. This is the second project that they have done for us and we’re very happy with the results.
