"Yaron of Pick Lock & Key was recommended to my son by the salesman when he purchased his 2016 Nissan Rogue and it only came with one key. Due to a staff shortage, it took them almost a week to meet up with my son. After arriving almost two hours late, the technician warned my son that there was an extremely slight chance that the BCM might lock up and need to be replaced while he was programming the new key and asked him to sign the work order acknowledging that he had been informed of the risk. Not only did the BCM lock up and need to be replaced, but we ended up also having to replace the ECM. Five days later - after having to get the car towed, replacing both the BCM and ECM, and spending about $4,000 in total (including paying $500 to get a new key and a duplicate key made) - we finally got the car back. When I then reached out to Pick Lock & Key to get reimbursed for some of the expense associated with fixing my son's car (since more than the BCM locking up had gone wrong), they refused to take any responsibility for their actions. I have attempted to follow up with them numerous times since then and they have yet to respond. The only thing I will give them credit for is that at least they didn't try to make my son pay for their initial work attempting to program a new key for his car!"
