Amy was willing to contact vendors to help with updates. For example, she went to a granite place and sent us photos of different colored granite so that we would pick new counters. She was there for people to deliver new appliances to the house. She helped with setting up a company to stage the house. Throughout all this, we never felt pressured to spend more than we wanted on updates. Her advice was spot-on. We received many competitive offers on our home and sold without difficulty. We would wholeheartedly recommend her!
We made the priority of our sale clear from the start (sell it quick!) and Amy did that with flying colors. We received 2 offers within the first week the house was on the market, and went under contract shortly thereafter. Amy even went out of her way to pick up the HOA seller's packet from the HOA on a weekday while we were unable to do so, and deliver it to the buyer's agent.
If you're looking to sell your house, we can't recommend anyone more highly than Amy Musher. She did exactly what she said she'd do, and we have no doubts that she'll be able to do the same for you.
We worked with Amy for about a month before finding our house. We were able to write our offer up within 24 hours of us giving her the green light. She was present for our home inspection, which I appreciated, and also gave great advice when asking what to negotiate for. Closing was smooth and painless. She was easy to get in contact with and helped us with all our silly questions along the way (we were first-time home buyers). I have contacted her months after closing for such questions as well and she has always been nothing but gracious and helpful. I would recommend Amy to anyone -- she really cares about her clients finding the best house at the best price and gives helpful advice along the way! Thank you Amy!
I e mailed Amy the day before going to an open house. She responded promptly. After attending the open house, I decided to make an offer. I was really surprised that Amy cut an out-of-town trip short to meet with me, take a look at the place and prepare my offer. She told me that she was in the real estate business because she loves it - there is no doubt about that! She is a delight to work with - enthusiastic, knowledgeable and thorough. She was truly this buyer's advocate, something important to me that was missing with the other agents I'd met and worked with.
My offer was accepted! I'll fill you in on the rest of the process after it happens!
The rest of the process happened before the beginning of this year - and Amy was wonderful! We joked about my panel of advisers and she was exceptionally welcoming and gracious when they became my entourage at closing. Shortly after I purchased my home, Amy won an award from her professional association. It came as absolutely no surprise to me that she did!
"Thank you for a wonderful review. Amy"
Also, not that it matters, but although I wasn't buying a house in Potomac, Amy definately treated me like I was the only client she had. She made time for me when I wanted to view a house, re-visit a house, or when I had questions. Amy says that once you become her client, you are her client for life and not just until you buy/sell your house. Try finding that quality in another agent.
If you are looking for an agent to buy or sell your home, I HIGHLY recommend Amy Musher. You'll gain an awesome agent, and an even awesom-er friend and person. (She also knows a lot of people that can be valuable resources when looking for handymen, services, etc. That's huge!!)
"Thank you for such a wonderful review. Amy"
Once the contract was finalized, Amy very assertively followed up on all details of the process, working with the Buyer's Agent in scheduling the inspections, appraisal, and keeping tabs on all the details. She was a great source of comfort to us, reassuring us with her experience when our anxiety level would rise.
Throughout the whole process, Amy was always there, always punctual, always reliable. Amy was the reason our house sale was such a successful and positive experience for us.
Amy also had an associate of hers who is an interior design specialist who had us place our furniture and oil paintings in an attractive manner in our new condominium. As a result we have have received numerous compliments on the placement of these items.
More recently, Amy was my agent to sell that home and to purchase another fabulous home in Gaithersburg.
I continue to refer Amy to others and I reach out to her whenever I am in need of a home improvement professional. Amy has recommended reliable and trustworthy locksmiths, electricians and handy men. We have never been disappointed in Amy's service levels or recommendations.
