They were very helpful in choosing toilets and they recommended an awesome plumber who I love.  I'm so happy that I know him.     

The locksmith provided me with replacement information/pricing and tried to fix the lockset for me for free. I reinstalled the lockset and it lasted several weeks...I will go back eventually to buy the modern replacement lockset once I make sure I can modify the opening to accomadate it without destroying a very old door. The locksmith refused payment which I thought generous.

They had a nice person to assist me, and they were very good at helping me choose the right toilet. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

I saw no defects in the cabinets, but the contractor was incredibly fussy and saw some issues with the finish. Union Hardware finally refunded us $200 to cover the repairs. The guy that took our order, Gene, was incredibly knowledgeable. There were two cabinets, and he was the one that pointed out it had internally mounted outlets. We had to get a more expensive one, but it was better suited for our needs.

I was trying to DIY repair my front door mortise lock made by Bladwin. MIchael is an expert at repairing any mortise lockset. For those who don't know, a mortise lock is common on front door locks where the lock body (Big metal box) is inserted in a pocket carved in the door, the metal box contains all the mechanics and latches and springs, probably most common front door latch/lock on any home today. Anyway, when i opened mine and the springs all popped out I knew I was in trouble. I thought I was in more trouble when I found out that a new set would be over $300. Well Michael at Union hardware is an expert at repairing these. I brought in my lockset and he repaired mine for a mere $61. He was very polite, showed me his wor area and how he did his work and straightened out some bent parts in my lockset (the original problem) and put it back together expertly. A true craftsman and expert of the trade and polite.

This is the absolute best place to purchase high quality hardware for your home in the area. Their prices are high, but they really ensure that you purchase exactly what you need and offer installation advice, etc. Their selection is wonderful. They go the extra mile every time.

The selection is very good, they don't have quite as much as the main location in Bethesda however the show room is efficient. The price you pay is for an high quality product.

I went in there knowing what kind of toilet I wanted. We spoke will Gene and he showed us the ones above the one I wanted and the ones belows the one I wanted. He also gave tips on buying a toilet.
