"I requested an estimate from RCL Remodeling to do drywall repair for a 220 line I initially planned to have done by a different company company. I was so impressed with RCLs quick reaponse that I ended up getting the 220 line and drywall repair all done by RCL. I also decided to have RCL do some cabinet repair work done. The owner, Rocael, was responsive, professional, and did excellent work. Hisbprices are fair. Riceal and one ither person came for the work and stayed late to complete alk the work in one day. I plan to hire him for more projects and would highly recommend him to others. I am so glad I found him on Angies List and I am thankful others took the time to rate him so highly. He certainly deserves the great ratings and Angies List helped me find him."

"Wilber and his painting crew arrived right on time to perform the job. All work was done in a timely manner and the crew exhibited outstanding professionalism in performing the work. In addition to painting the walls, ceiling and trim in one of our bedrooms and bathroom, they patched any imperfections in the walls and nail holes before they started to paint. After all painting work was complete, Wilber personally walked through all the rooms painted with me to assure I was satisfied. I couldn't be more satisfied with the job Wilber's crew did and I would definitely hire them again, as well as recommend them to others looking for a painter."

"I needed to upgrade my galley style kitchen in an old row house in DC. Last reno was 20 years ago, a lot of wear and tear was showing and some issues behind the scenes needed to be fixed. Not able to make the kitchen bigger, was hoping by making it lighter and brighter with cabinets and paint would give it a more specious appearance. My initial meeting with Mr. Tony Heard gave me a lot of confidence that he understood what I was looking for as well as ensuring that any issues would be addressed and resolved. The first day of renovation, I met with the team, led by Mr. George Pitts who explained the process. They were all very personable and just all-around good people to work with. One of my neighbors mentioned, "I bet your kitchen will look amazing, those guys are the happiest contractors I have ever seen. Seems they love what they do". I had to agree, everyone was a joy to work with and it really put my mind at ease. The communication with Mr. George and others was always clear and timely, specially making it a point to show me specific issues that needed to be fixed, and the cost so there would be no financial surprises. I had no doubt that the outcome was going look nice, but I must admit that once I saw the finished kitchen I was extremely pleased. The look and the attention to detail, came out better than I expected. It was completed right before Thanksgiving and family and friends were amazed. And to top it all off, I got exactly what I wanted in a kitchen, and it all came within my budget. Win Win!! "This wasn’t the first time I used Vazquez & Son. In 2014, they expanded my closet and built custom doors for it. Luis and his team are alway nice, attentive to detail, and leave the work area clean. So, when my bathroom ceiling was torn up to repair a leak I called him immediately to repair and get my bathroom back in order. In fact I had them repaint the whole thing and it looks great. I’m writing this review a year later because once again I have an emergency repair need (broken bay window) and once again Vazquez & Son are to the rescue! I had been traveling out of the country and a guest using my place broke the window. From the airport, on a Sunday morning, I texted Luis a picture of the window and he responded within 10 mins. It is great to have a reliable responsive handyman/construction service provider when you need one. Not all my projects are big money, but it’s my home (1 bedroom apartment) and having things done right matters to me. Vazquez & Sons treats my projects like professionals and never make me feel like small potatoes. I’m a loyal customer, and plan to be, as long as Vazquez & Son is in business."

"It went perfectly. The wallboard was expertly repaired in order to affix new wallpaper, and it looks great. The window had to be special ordered because it's not a size currently mass produced. .Nestor, the handyman, kept us aware of the delivery schedule and installed the window on the first date we had available. The new window looks and works great. I've already recommended Chapin Handyman to a neighbor a couple of days ago."
