"Very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They did a great job mounting a 55" tv and hooking up a blu-ray player and sound bar. We're extremely happy with the job they did, and was very reasonably priced. Will hire again and recommend to anyone needing audio/visual pros. Thank you so much!"

"We were delighted with the outcome of the installation of a new surround on our fireplace. This was a re-do of an initial installation by another contractor that did not work out too well! I was nervous about getting this done right and Kevin put me at ease immediately. He was precise, highly skilled, and very aware that we were not happy with the first installation. It turned out beautifully."

Small jobs welcome

"We hired Martin Networking to install surveillance in our retail space. Jesse was professional and knowledgeable the entire way through the process. Prompt to our consultation, experienced with offering recommendations on placement of cameras and different styles available to give us the coverage we needed. The install was handled flawlessly. He was respectful of our space and kept all wiring concealed for a clean finish. After the install was complete, he made sure to follow up with a thorough explanation of the features of the cameras we selected and made sure we were comfortable accessing the app and adjusting settings to fit our needs. An additional trip was made for a minor adjustment on the angle of one camera and we have been very pleased with the performance of what was installed. So satisfied with service and product, we are having cameras installed at our home next."

Tv Mount Install questions, answered by experts

Pro expertise allows optimal angling and cable management, improving room aesthetics.

Yes, drywall can hold a 50-pound TV. However, when mounting a TV, you’ll either need to attach it to wall studs or use drywall anchors. If you use anchors, make sure to buy a type that can hold at least 50 pounds. Molly bolts, threaded anchors, and toggle bolts are all good options. For extra support, you can also install a wall mounting plate with the anchors.

Determining if mounting a TV on the wall or mounting it on a stand is better boils down to personal preference. TV mounts are an excellent choice for homes that have limited space, unruly dogs, or young children. They also allow you to customize the height and viewing angle more easily. At the same time, mounting a TV on an entertainment center stand offers additional storage space, a place to hide the wires, and fewer holes in the wall. Renters may also have limitations on drilling holes into the wall above certain diameters.

It’s worth hiring a TV-mounting professional to hang your TV to ensure the safety of your device and long-lasting results. If you’re investing in a large or smart TV, it’s worth preserving your investment to guarantee that it’s hung safely and correctly. Plus, a TV mounting professional can recommend the right wall mount based on the wall type and TV size and weight.

The VESA mounting standard refers to the layout of the mounting holes on the back of all televisions that follow the standard. These holes appear in the same place on all TVs of a certain size. This allows the mounting bracket and hardware manufacturers to build the brackets to fit the VESA standard. Ideally, if everyone follows the VESA standard, any brand of TV should fit any brand of mounting bracket, as long as the sizes match up correctly.
