Rick arrived on time and surveyed the attic. He then proceeded to install the antenna that I provided. I collaborated in tuning while he pointed the antenna. Our roof had solar panels so the antenna had to be moved. Rick is a consummate professional. I would recommend him and Ch-Tel to any cord cutter in DC metro area.

The work was great, and the price was very reasonable. The technician suggested an easy way to route the telephone wire to the adjacent room where the new phone jack was to be installed and completed the work within 1 hr. He even installed the wireless phone we had purchased without our asking.

Excellent. A telephone discussion with Charlie covered the essential elements of the work and the likely cost. Rick and Ivo installed the attic antenna. They did a terrific job, much better than I expected. They were courteous, fast, and hid the wiring in a way that was much superior to the previous cable installation. I recommend CH-Tel highly.

With CH Tel. you get the right things done, the right way. I just moved into a house with no modern communications infrastructure. They gave us low voltage cabling, WiFi mesh network installation, security flood lights and cameras and doorbells. I now have computers on ethernet - so always strong faultless connections. And I'm ready to install smart TVs. The WiFi never drops and can handle all my devices from thermostats, garage door openers, flood lights, cameras, phones, TVs in any room, - you name it. The external cameras and flood lights give me better self-administered security than old fashioned monitored alarm systems. Cameras notify me if someone comes to the house, and I can check recordings to see what went on, especially when I gone. They hung a large TV on the family room wall and helped us mate the controllers. All this quickly done by friendly, expert techs working inside and out. So now we are back in modern times - easily. And ready for any updates coming down the road. Wish more companies were like this!

Ivo and Rick came over at around 1pm to check our antenna because we weren’t getting all the stations we should. They worked diligently to find an answer for the 4 tvs we have. We finally decided we needed a new stronger antenna and they installed it and set up all four. They were here until 5 pm and did a fantastic job. Fantastic. The C. H. Tel technician (Mike) arrived on time, troubleshot all three inoperable land-line phone circuits into the house, found and corrected all the wiring problems in the phone circuit box on the back of the garage, and reinstalled the kitchen wall phone, and even added small wiring extensions to the very short phone thru-wall wiring for that kitchen phone. Promptly done all of that in only about one hour. This company and Mike personally were exceptional, and their pricing was very reasonable.

Very pleased with the service, but final cost was substantially higher than the estimate. I had a TV antenna assembly (2 antennas on one pole) and a satellite dish removed from my chimney, along with associated cabling. Team arrived on time and performed the work as described, but the final bill was substantially higher than the estimate given. I would have been OK with that if once the team arrived and saw the job at hand they told me it would take longer than expected. All in all, they did good work, arrived on time, and I am happy with the result. I think the communication regarding the cost could have been better.
