After the insurance company determined that the original siding was no longer available, they agreed to cover the full cost of replacing siding for the whole house. After interviewing other well-reviewed companies, I decided to with B&R because, first of all, they were the first to respond to our wind-damage a month or two earlier, very neatly and securely covering the exposed portion. We learned a lot about our home during his presentation. Before we bought our home we paid for a professional home inspection. We thought our house inspector was very good but he did miss something---the siding on the sides of our home was installed extremely bad. "Hired them for minor Siding fixes. They also agreed to check all the Siding and reinstall any popped pieces. Doing that they found sections where no Tyvek/insulation had ever been installed and water was getting in. They added insulation, replaced bad wood and replaced the Siding. Since it got dirty they power washed the house and deck. Can't say enough about the careful work they did and the clear communication."
