"The job went great. They came out removed the old deck flooring, stairs and nails. During the project they kept the site clean of debris, nails and trash. They put down new deck flooring, provided deck trap door for water faucet access, new stairs, sanded off writing on lumber and added rail for the stairs (concrete posts for stability). They waited to stain the deck after wood had been exposed to elements and dried. The team let us know when they were coming to do work and what to expect. Their cost was reasonable and they were not like other companies that just wanted to sell and do things that were not necessary."

Some of the issues that popped up were beyond Custom Worksâ control (e.g., wood and paver shortages) which pushed our time back from August to September (2021). Glen came with great suggestions and we used some of them and are very happy with the finished product. Glen also doesnâ t try to up-sale customers which you can find with other companies. For example, I inquired about Custom Works building a storage unit for the deck and he said he could but it would be less expensive just to order it from Amazon.
