"While it is normal for remodeling projects to create chaos and to be the muse of many a horror story, this ended up with a very pleasant end result. We had a complete renovation down to the studs to bring things up to code, which included ripping out the sub flooring and quite a bit of pipes. Parts were ordered and lost and found. Things went on backorder and were discontinued. We fortunately had a fantastic crew. Ismar (the contractor) did an awesome job of making sure that everything was done to spec and built beautifully. He followed our wishes and came back on the weekend and late to be sure the work was done right. The only real challenges were with the design and oversight from the office, between the designer losing our design specs on the first pass and not communicating proactively about delays or back orders, but thankfully these were more annoyance than problem. After a few handoffs, we got Eric E. as project manager, and he saw us through the rest of the project with much better results and only about 30% oversight still needed from us. Overall, we got a great bathroom out of the deal, so 4 stars."

KS is the only company in the area that could match our design using a light blue laminate. Others had only traditional color choices. The kitchen looks beautiful, like new! John came out personally and was very honest and his pricing was fair. They did an amazing job taking my vision and making it a reality. The crews were efficient and responsive. "Some of the designs that were offered when designing the basement were not actually available and I was not told until they were already doing the install. The breaker for the basement lights and plugs seems overloaded because it will trip when I have the treadmill plugged in. There were a couple of places where the paint did not appear to dry correctly and had to be redone and still has an uneven surface. They got it done quickly but you could definitely tell it was rushed."

"In 2017 my townhouse was remolded by Northstar Company. I signed the contract, left my house keys with Chris Marshall and left to snowbird for the winter in Florida. Every day when Iâ m back in the house, I marvel on the professional job done. Three years later, Iâ m still getting positive feedback on the remodel. Recently, we noticed the bathroom wall had black mold. I called Chris and he immediately responded to troubleshoot. On a rainy night, he stood on my handrail to look for the leak. We found the problem was caused by water leaking from my neighborâ s roof after cutting a hole in the upstairs ceiling. After his crew, fixed the neighborâ s roof problem and the termite contractor did his work, the ceiling was patched and painted along with the bathroom wall. It looks brand new. Iâ m writing this review to relay that this is a contractor that you can trust even after the contract is completed."
