"Mr. Thomas, Dwight and crew performed the level 2 chimney inspection (only/no sweep requested) and repaired the brick/masonry of the chimney, including repacing the flue liner and repair of the chimney box. They provided literature, kept me highly informed of status, arrival, appointments, and work progress. They also completed a beautiful job on my neighbor's chimney rebuild/replace. The work looks really great and it is apparent that Mr. Thomas, Dwight, and the masonry crew take pride in their workmanship and quality. The job was completed within 2 days and so far, everything is looks fantastic. Waiting for a cool day to crank up the fireplace. They also provided a professional lamination card and pen for reminders of next year's chimney sweep. I only slightly hit the value as I would have loved the inspection price to be part of the repair and the receipt, but overall, great experience, great A+ rating on BBB and both licensed and bonded. All work in this 2-day job was high quality, and we were not left with anything to clean up at completion. As part of the project, George also corrected a recent unsatisfactory repair to our 2 chimney crowns that was performed by unlicensed chimney sweep. For both projects, George spent extra time with us to ensure we understood the details of flue lining and proper crown repair. We appreciate that he also gave us the recommendation not to use either of our 1950's vintage fireplaces for wood burning due to carbon monoxide concerns. Both fireplaces have had inserts removed and are no longer safe. We'll be sure to call George again when we're ready for the next fireplace project."
