"This was a project to replace a chimney liner in a house that is 75 years old. RIchard at Chimney Discounters,LLC did a great job! The estimate was free. He listened, he answered questions, he provided pictures (before and after), he and his crew showed up on time and completed the job on time. I highly recommend this company."

"George Bowen performed a flue tile repair and installation of a liner in our furnace chimney. All work in this 2-day job was high quality, and we were not left with anything to clean up at completion. As part of the project, George also corrected a recent unsatisfactory repair to our 2 chimney crowns that was performed by unlicensed chimney sweep. For both projects, George spent extra time with us to ensure we understood the details of flue lining and proper crown repair. We appreciate that he also gave us the recommendation not to use either of our 1950's vintage fireplaces for wood burning due to carbon monoxide concerns. Both fireplaces have had inserts removed and are no longer safe. We'll be sure to call George again when we're ready for the next fireplace project."

If your oven is new, then it’s likely that the oven smoking is due to it being a new unit. In this case, you don’t need to worry about the oven smoking. However, if your oven is old, you can’t identify any burnt food or grease that could be behind the smoking, or you have concerns about the heating element, then you should hire an oven technician to inspect your unit.

Yes, most insurance plans cover acts of nature. In policy documents, this also may be called “Acts of God” or “natural disasters.” However, not all acts of nature are covered by your policy, and the extent to which they’re covered depends on your specific contract. Check your policy documents to understand your coverage limits and exclusions.

Yes, mineral spirits are flammable and may spontaneously combust at temperatures of 200 degrees F or more. Storing them in well-ventilated spaces and disposing of them the proper way are the best ways to prevent mineral spirits or anything contaminated with them, like towels and rags, from going up in smoke.
