"Hired to weed , mulch and edge beds. Found out he also did painting so I asked him to do an exterior painting and repair project. Did both jobs simultaneously and I was happy with both. I will call him again when the need arises."

"Arctic Window Tinting did a fantastic job. Bob was very responsive to our emails and telephone calls. He came out and looked at what we wanted to do. Then he showed use different products and told us the different ratings. Once we decided on the product he was able to schedule the installation (Tuesday) and 2 days later the film was up (Thursday). He even added two additional windows to my order the evening before they were to perform the service. Mike installed the window film. He was prompt and extremely professional. If you are looking to add window film (for privacy, heat reduction, and/or preventing harmful UV rays) then give them a call. You will not be disappointed!"

"It went well with A-PLUS Window Tinting. They were very easy to work with and did a nice job. They did a good job. I thought they were very reasonable because it was a lot of work. It's a  lot of window, if I couldn't have that I'd probably get them all replaced so you can see how much money it saved us if you think about it. It was four sliders, two skylights and then four other windows. It was a lot of work. They did a nice job and it come with a nice warranty. They said they would come out and fix it but I haven't had them come out and fix anything so it's good. I wouldn't hesitate to have them come back."

Window Tinting questions, answered by experts

The costs range from $5 to $15 per square foot, depending on the film type, UV protection level, and labor.

In many cases, window tinting will boost your home value. If you’re selling your home, especially in a warmer climate, buyers are very likely to see immense value in window tinting, which improves the home’s energy efficiency and helps make the living space more comfortable. Buyers may also recognize the privacy and security improvements offered by window tinting, which could lead to them paying more for your home.

You can easily and cheaply use tin foil or cardboard to black out your windows. Save a pretty penny by cutting either material to the size of your windows and taping it to the window. This is one of the easiest and most budget-friendly blackout solutions, but it definitely isn’t the most aesthetically friendly.

Clean with non-abrasive cleaners and a soft cloth, avoiding ammonia-based products that can degrade the film.

Often, window film won’t stick if the glass is too dirty; dust and debris can prevent the adhesive from working. Make sure to clean the glass thoroughly before installing the window film. Low-quality film, which may have a weaker adhesive, might also be the cause of your window film’s inability to stick.
