"Over Mother’s Day Weekend, my present to my mom was a complete cleanout of her garage. This is a place that had accumulated 55+ years’ worth of junk as my father and his father before him were pack rats. Everything from rusty old tools to an old refrigerator to who-knows-what was in that garage. I had a company in mind to do the job: GMP. Christopher Quincer (owner) and his crew had done a great job disposing of some large items at my house last autumn. We called Christopher to set up an appointment and get a quote for the job on Saturday May 13. Turns out he was very willing to come out on Sunday and haul all of this stuff away. He actually showed up a bit early, in keeping with his Marine Corps training and went right to work, using both a truck and trailer dumpsters. All the stuff just about filled up both dumpers, and it took Christopher about 3 hours to finish. He didn’t rush but he didn’t dawdle; it was the perfect pace. Large items were removed easily, and even items inside cabinets were removed for disposal. He has a great demeanor and is very pleasant and personable. Christopher also cleaned up by sweeping out the entire garage after everything was removed. It was simply an awesome job that he did. The final price was within the estimate range that he gave us, and certainly reasonable for the amount of junk removed and for working on Mother's Day after only 18 hours of notice. I highly recommend GMP for junk removal, whether the job is large or small. I was extremely pleased from start to finish, and my octogenarian mother told me it was the best Mother’s Day present she could’ve had."

"I have heard some mean things about the moving companies. But, the reason why they exist is pretty simple. They make our lives easier. Otherwise, I don’t even know how people move across the states by their own. Sure, not every moving company makes it easier for you and there is always a chance that your goods might get damaged or lost. But, that risk runs low with a company like Moving APT. These guys are just such professionals. I hired them for my move and they really came to the party. All my belongings were carefully packed up in the shortest possible time. The men displayed amazing skills and efficiency. I am very thankful to the movers for how simple they made this process for me. All my belongings reached on schedule and nothing was lost or damaged. I think hiring these guys was the best decision."

"The hauling work during our house remodeling was outstanding. The team was highly efficient, ensuring that all materials and debris were promptly removed without disrupting the renovation process. They maintained a clean worksite, which contributed to a safer and more organized environment throughout the project. The care taken to avoid any damage to our property was particularly appreciated, as was their ability to complete the work within the agreed budget. Communication was clear and professional, making the entire experience seamless. We’re extremely satisfied with the quality of the hauling services provided."

Hauling questions, answered by experts

Costs range from $200 to $1,000, depending on volume, material type, and labor.

Costs depend on item size, accessibility, and additional services like disconnection or recycling.

The Global E-waste Statistics Partnership (GESP) aims to collect worldwide e-waste statistics in an internationally standardized way. It also works to bring awareness to electronic waste and the issues it causes.

Products that are hazardous, such as aerosol sprays, top the list of what to leave behind during a move. Avoid packing perishables, garden and garage chemicals, pool supplies, compressed gases, and combustible items. If you are trying to move by yourself, you may want to downsize so you have fewer belongings to pack and move (and then unpack).

Accepted materials include construction debris, office furniture, and general waste. Hazardous items may require special handling.
