"Santos arrived promptly this afternoon to see the job and to give me a quote. When I agreed to his very reasonable amount, he said he had the time right then to get the job done. He and his wife, Maura, worked very hard and assiduously and completed the entire job in 3 hours! My yard around the fallen limbs was raked and cleaned of all twigs and debris. I am very pleased with the fine job done so expediently, and the very fair price! I recommend Santos Masonry and Landscaping for any small projects you may need in your yard or around your home! "Brett responded to us quickly when we first contacted him. He was courteous, prompt, professional, and personable. He was on time and when he left you wouldn't know he had been here as he cleaned up everything. Our job consisted of removing a hot tub from an enclosed area so he had to cut it up in several pieces to hull it away. He was amazing and we would recommend him for all you junk hauling needs."

Hauling questions, answered by experts

Rubber mulch is recyclable and should not be disposed of in landfills. Contact local recycling centers or rubber mulch manufacturers, as many offer take-back programs. You can also repurpose it for other landscaping projects, donate it to schools or community parks, or sell it online. If removal is necessary, use a shovel and rake to collect the mulch, then transport it to the appropriate disposal or recycling facility.

If you choose to break down a piano on your own, a 10-yard dumpster should be large enough to hold the individual parts. Keep in mind that junk haulers may not allow you to place a whole piano in a rollaway dumpster, but this will depend on the company, your contract, and local laws. That being said, choosing the right dumpster size will save you from the headache of over-filling the container during your cleanout.

If your old bricks are in decent condition and you have the space to store them where they’ll be protected from the elements, keeping old bricks is often worthwhile. You’d spend anywhere from $70 to a few hundred dollars to have them removed from your property, in which case you won’t be able to use them for future projects. Holding on to old bricks in good condition means you can use them later for other DIY projects, potentially saving yourself some money on disposal and new materials down the road.

Costs range from $20 to $100 monthly, depending on service frequency and waste volume.

Many contractors include debris hauling, or you can recycle concrete for eco-friendly disposal.
