"I needed my entryway stairs and porches replaced due to age. I found MMP Construction here on Angie’s list, and contacted them through the website. Matt, the owner, called me back the next day and we arranged a time for him to come and give me an estimate. He showed up exactly when he said he would, and emailed me the estimate the next day. When I hired him, he told me upfront that it would be a while before he could start due to an ongoing project he was working on. I appreciated that. When the time came for him to start, there were some delays, mainly weather related, and he was very conscientious about calling me and letting me know what was going on and when to expect them. Although the project took longer than I expected to be finished, I am very happy with the finished product. Matt is excellent at communication. He took care of all permits, and arranged all inspections. His crew was always on time. They did an excellent job cleaning up after they were done, and the finished project was fantastic. I would definitely recommend MMP Construction, and would not hesitate to use them again in the future."

"I have worked with different contractors before but Richard is on a different level. I do not usually write review but in this case I feel obligated to write one given how wonderful he was. Not only was he hardworking, he was kind and would go to any length to make sure the needs of his clients are met. Our work with Richard started last March, we wanted an extra space for guests and the initial plan was to finish a room on top of our garage. Given my bad experiences with previous projects, I wanted to be careful in choosing a contractor. So I came on Angie’s list and was reading through different reviews for different contractors. When I got Richard’s, I liked all the reviews but what really got me hooked was the single negative review on his profile. I read through Richard’s rebuttal and knew right away we found the right person. I appreciated how he explained in details (without being defensive or sounding angry) what the issues with that project were. I reached out to him immediately and even though he was on vacation with his wonderful wife (who I later met) he responded right away and we were able to fix a time to meet. He met with me and my husband at the house and he explained in full details how he works from designing down to completion of the project. We explained to him what we wanted and he promised to give us a quote in few day which he did. Given how much the initial project was going to cost, Richard suggested that it would be cost effective to finish the basement instead. And thank God we took his advice, now not only do we have an extra room for our guest, we also have an extra living area and an extra bathroom. Richard carried us along all every step of the way, he was always asking for our opinions and always making sure that our needs were met. From design, to permit (which required multiple visit to the city hall), to hiring sub-contractors, I never for once had any regrets. We had few bumps on the road, but Richard was there to calm our anxiety and to provide solutions. Cost was well willing our budget. I have never seen anyone worked so hard for his client. This man worked harder than any 30 year-old around. We are very happy with the final product and would definitely hire him again. As I have told him jokingly that I hope he does not retire any time soon."

"DiOrio Builders & Designers has been excellent to work with on several projects around our 1890s colonial home in Boston. Over the last few years, they have painted the interior of our house, installed hardwood flooring, rebuilt our front porch, installed French drains in the back, reinforced and repointed our granite foundation, rebuilt our kitchen floor and tiled it, and installed numerous lights and a range hood. The quality of work is top-notch and they were great to work with. Pricing was fair, communication was professional and timelines were met. I recommend them to all my friends."

"As above...simply marvelous. Eduardo is extremely neat, always cleaning up when done and placed materials and tools away properly. I had originally met Eduardo three years ago when my sliding glass doors needed replacing and ceilings, closets etc. needed painting. His English, at first, was difficult but since that time, he has vastly improved along with his personal talents and experience as a professional. His carpentry skills and his inbred abilities to do most anything are outstanding. He completed work (counters, seating, flooring etc) in my daughter's Cafe in ample time and nicely done for her grand opening. He's hung closet doors, sliding doors, installed faucets, exhaust fans. He's done some plumbing, tiling, a full shower with built in seat, interior and exterior house painting, rake boards, trim, a bit of electrical work, etc. He's repaired, retaped and painted several ceilings. He has replaced all of the rotted boards hither and yon throughout my property; from the front and back porches and decks, to the shed, to the front stairs to the trim around doors, windows etc. Eduardo, most importantly, is honest and trustworthy and, I must say, most respectful...always. I would not and did not hesitate to leave my doors open when I was out. My home was open for him. He takes pride in his work and has quietly done many extra things that have surprised me so. Example; my trash barrels have been brought in for me, my garden tools or hoses have been picked up for me. Saw dust, debris, dust and dirt have all been cleaned away. He is a good person, a hard worker, and is fairly priced. I would recommend him at any time. You may speak to me personally if you wish further information. He would have my number. I truly, truly, appreciate everything that he has done for me. Work still needs doing and he diligently is working on my list: fieldstone walls that need rebuilding, smoke detectors needing replacing, attic vent fan replacement, wallpaper removal, more interior painting, some high hedge trimming, mulching, edging etc. etc. etc. He will shine at anything and everything that you need doing. "They were excellent! We had some some serious structural issues with our garage. They were honest about the work and communicated with us daily. He hired a subcontractor for some of the work but ensured that the subcontractor worked up to his and our standards. The crew went above and beyond! We WILL be hiring them again for future projects."

"When we purchased this older house, we quickly realized the second-floor deck was in bad shape and needed a total overhaul. We got a couple of quotes, but Will came highly recommended. We decided to go with them as they are family-owned to take on the job and I'm so glad we did. They did a killer job!
 The whole process was hassle-free and the final result was much better than expected. They were knowledgeable and genuinely cared about doing the best job possible. But what really impressed me was how much I was able to lean on them for advice on other needs of the older house and ended up doing some other work in the upstairs bathroom. Being new to home ownership, I had a lot of questions and Will was more than happy to help me out with recommendations and solutions. The new deck they built is now one of the best parts of my house. 
Overall, I can't recommend these guys enough. They truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right. genuinely cared about me and my home. If you're looking for a contractor who will do an amazing job and offer great advice, Will is your guy."
