"We recently completed a gut reno and second story addition. After engaging 10 different contractors, MP was the most communicative, interested, flexible and competitively priced. MP has a large in-house team of experts that work efficiently and adapt to the home owner’s needs and preferences. The employees worked 6 days a week and took great pride in their work. They were personally invested in our project and wanted to make it the home of our dreams. The team includes an amazing designer, Nataly, who helped with selecting finishes. The onsite foreman, Adriano, demonstrated expertise and kindness. Seichelle and Marco did an excellent job with operations, ordering materials and problem-solving. We have been back in our home for 10 months. Anytime I have an issue, Seichelle and the team have addressed it. They have gone above and beyond what is expected. We could not be more pleased with our project. We strongly recommend MP for your next project!"

"Absolute ripoff, along with shady business practices. They were prompt and courteous, but that's about it. The technician came and had to replace a $200 part on my boiler, it took him under an hour to do the work. A simple Google search showed at least 10 places to buy the exact part, all around $200. No other parts were needed for this repair, I researched what is involved. I was charged almost $1000, including their $89 diagnostic fee just to walk in the door. So apparently it's a $600+/hour labor rate? I'm obviously in the wrong line of work. This was not an off hours emergency call either, it was a scheduled appointment in the middle of a weekday. The shadiest part of the entire thing was that on the invoice (that they email you later) they bury all the cost, it's not itemized i.e. labor vs parts cost. It just says replaced (part) = $1000. A super scummy and shady way to run a "professional" business, taking advantage of people who don't know any better. I wouldn't be surprised if they also sell used cars. Never again Gervais. You've all been warned."

"Bought a heat pump from them 3 years ago. Cooling has never worked in the summer, heating fails twice every year in winter. Even when it works it can't heat the house over 65 degrees. The problem is always the same, a leak in the line they installed. Instead of fixing the leak, they refill the refrigerant every time and charge me a few hundred dollars. Every time I have helpfully told them about the continuing leak issue, but they don't listen. Now that the heat pump is out of warranty they are recommending a $3000 repair of the problem they should have fixed three years ago."

The quote he provided was reasonable and the project cost was exactly what was quoted. What stood out to me the most was the quality of work done. No corners were cut - if something was being built from scratch, it was done correctly....if something that was being renovated was less than ideal (existing walls/studs out of plumb, uneven flooring, etc) it was made as correct as possible before the work was done. "Avoid this company at all costs?.over priced front door. Installed incorrectly, wrong color, not what I wanted from the get go?to cut costs, they changed from a fiberglass door to a steel door (which caused a problem due to southern exposure & door becoming extremely hot to the point of burning fingers) & changed the colors. Door had drafts as not hung correctly. Came back & corrected the type of door to fiberglass (at an additional cost), corrected the colors, tried to correct the door so there were no drafts, but the door creaks & squeaks & it drives me crazy. No amount of WD-40 or silicone spray helps. Emailed the company about correcting this with no response whatsoever."

"The initial build went reasonably well. We did find problems which they did come back and fix. I noticed a railing support that was cracked. I was told that I must of done it, that was that. The plugs that cover the screw holes in the stairs are falling out. I looked for some at Home Depot, but couldn't find the right color. I still had Chase's cell #, so I texted him and asked if he could send me some plugs, and I would do it myself. No response. Tried again the next day, still no response. I'm not surprised. Aging the build was decent, price was higher than most. Now that nearly 2 years have gone by, and customer service should be anticipated, nothing. Never again."
