"Fantastic! This is the second time I’ve worked with Gaby and I can’t recommend his services highly enough (first time to convert a dining room closet into a built in). Every aspect from planning and design to execution, were perfect. Gaby is a true professional and we are very happy with how our new furniture has turned out!"

"Allen Cohen was the consummate professional. He is an expert in the field of kitchen tune-ups. He was extremely helpful in helping me determine the best approach for a new look. We discussed several options, and I decided to move forward with refinishing my 25 year old cherry cabinets. Allen's staff was very professional and engaging. The expertise in refinishing and fixing challenging areas was amazing. I would recommend Allen Cohen's Cabinet Tune-up to family and friends."

"Cabinet Cures was the absolute best company to redo my cabinets! I checked with other companies that do similar work, but cabinet cures is all about quality. I chose white cabinets. Other companies use a thermofoil product that can peel or melt off, but Cabinet Cures uses the same process as new white wood cabinets. When covering the face of the inside of cabinets, they us 1/4 inch of wood covering, not a thin, cheap veneer that can peel off. The end result is virtually brand new cabinets in 5 days instead of having to gut the whole kitchen taking 3 months and costing 3-4 times as much!!!! The installers were so professional, dependable and respectful. They cleaned up after each day, and there was little disruption to my home. The company answered questions and responded quickly to any issues or concerns. Every day that I see my beautiful kitchen, I know I made the right choice and used the absolute best company there is!!! It came out perfect and I could not be happier!!!! Thank you Cabinet Cures for such a beautiful, time saving, cost containing solution to making my kitchen so awesome!"
Even the adjacent dining area benefited from the update.
Taller doors to give a seamless look along with replacing the open cabinet gives a clean uniform look.

Closets questions, answered by experts

If you’re on a tight budget, the least expensive material you can buy for DIY closet shelves is chipboard, a.k.a. particle board. This inexpensive material is made from a pulp of sawdust, resin, and glue that’s pressed together under high temperature and pressure. As you can imagine, it’s not very sturdy and might buckle under your blue jean collection, so you should only use it if you’re storing very light items.

Adding a mudroom is one of the most budget-friendly home additions compared to other projects, costing between $8,000 and $16,000 on average. Not only is the room often quite small, but it also requires minimal fixtures or wiring to make the room practical. The most costly features include a weatherproof floor and an exterior door.

A foyer or entryway is typically a formal landing area for guests, located at the primary entrance of a home. It is often more formally decorated and connects directly to the main living space. In contrast, a mudroom is a more casual, utilitarian room, usually leading in from a secondary entrance like a garage or the side or rear of the house. It serves as a space for residents to remove shoes and outerwear to keep mud, dirt, and water out of the main home.

A "reach-in pantry" is a smaller, cabinet-style pantry that allows you to grab items by simply reaching inside. On the other hand, a "walk-in pantry" is like a closet or small room that offers a larger space that you can physically enter to get your food. Walk-in pantries allow for more customizable shelving. A reach-in pantry is usually around 5 feet wide by 2 feet deep, while a walk-in pantry is closer to 5 feet by 5 feet or larger.

Tiny house living requires creative solutions to the one biggest issue: space. Many people in tiny houses find life most manageable if they practice minimalism. Eliminating excess items and clutter makes the living space feel bigger, which can be a significant mood booster. It can also be challenging to get utilities arranged for a tiny house, and building and zoning codes can and often do present unique challenges to overcome.
