"Pro Home Services was extremely professional right from the start. Eric came out to give an estimate and was extremely knowledgeable about the work that we wanted done. He explained everything thoroughly, which was reassuring. He also provided homes that they had worked on and references for us so that we could feel good about making the right decision. Eric was easy to contact as were the other workers. Once the contract and deposit were signed, we did notice the urgency of responding to our calls and emails was not there any more. However, we were still pleased with their work. We were told the project would start on a Monday but it was the week of the hurricane. We weren't contacted at all that week, even though we understood that they would be delayed. After waiting to hear from them, we called and they told us a new date that they would start, which they followed through with. From the beginning, we kept saying that we wanted the house to look exactly like it had originally but newer. After we came home on the first day of the siding being put up, the width was larger than it had looked originally. This was very frustrating since we kept saying we wanted it to be the same as it had been. Eric explained that the width of the original siding was different in different places so he rounded up to the 5 inch boards. I wish he has clearly stated this to me since I had just assumed that what he wrote in the contract would match what the original siding had looked like. We grew to love the look (especially since we had no money to fix it :) Overall, the worker(s) arrived early each day and cleaned up each evening. They were very helpful when we had questions and the final product looks amazing! They had promised to paint the PVC trim where it didn't match the hardie trim color, which they couldn't do since the project had gotten pushed back and it was too cold. This was unfortunate since they had said they would do the downspouts too but there wasn't anything we could do about the weather. When we had issues come up about the project, they listened and fixed it. They did work above and beyond what other contractors had offered to do. All of our windows got new flashing, we got our porch roof replaced, and they cleaned up some insulation that was sticking out of our attic windows. They even left the dumpster for us to use when they were done. We definitely plan to use them in the future if we need to! You won't go wrong if you choose Pro Home!"

"Vista has come to our house, especially a particular gentleman. Really knowledgeable, very professional. They do several different things. I have had them out to do estimates on gutters. We have not hired them for anything. To give you an idea, when they've come out I was very happy to open the door and see it was the same guy that has come several times to do several things. I interview several people. Not only did he come, and it's a little confusing to me because it has to do with ventilation and insulation, and excuse my language but there is a whole freaking science to this thing, but the owner actually came out. Not only did they keep in communication by computer, the owner actually came out and reinforced the whole education and what needs to be done. I was really thrilled with that. I thought that was beyond the call of duty. I am sorry I was not able to go with them, but I would certainly say as far as customer service relationship, excellent. The information was excellent. Not bothered by the fact that he had to come out more than one time for the same kind of information. I've never had the opportunity to hire them. But I've never been disappointed. They will take the time, they will talk to you, they will educate you, and they will actually give you the best price they can possibly give you. I got educated so that when my  husband came home I could explain to him what is going on. I can't rate their work, but as far as their generosity of time and caring, it's off the charts. I don't know about price because this is a whole new area to me. They were amazing. I have to tell you I have had them out several times as I said, it's Vista Home Improvements so they do several things, but I feel kind of bad that I am yet to hire them. I am trying to think exactly where Vista is out of, but for the owner to com about to your house. We're talking about a wrap around attic. We are talking about getting on your hands and knees and crawling around."

We wanted to have a pool house (cabana) built prior to the start of the summer.  We explained to Ray what we wanted, 16x24 cabana, electric, cable, cabinets, flooring, ceiling fan, running hot/cold water, outdoor lighting, and aesthetically pleasing as possible (to match the house and pool area).  Ray gave us a quote and told us when he could start the job and approximately how long it would take.  Ray worked with us to design the cabana and to pick out the items (cabinets, windows, slider door, fan, appliances, etc).  Ray completed the job ahead of schedule.  The cabana looks great and we get compliments on it all the time.  It's a great place to entertain, prepare and eat a meal, or just kick back and relax when you need some relief from the heat,"

"Roberto was the technician and he was very professional, polite, and personable. He inspected the rest of our system and told us things that needed to be changed or repaired. He showed me pictures of everything. Everything he told me about was accurate. He quoted me a price for R38 insulation , Some of our ducts were plastic and he recommended them to be changed. I agreed completely and didn't know they were plastic. I would have had them done the work but I had no price comparisons to make and besides I didn't have the money right then. So he just finished the vent cleaning and left his card. He did a great job on the vent cleaning and was happy with the work."

"Last winter we had significant damage to our house due to ice dams and had to live in a hotel for over a month. Neponset Valley Construction was subcontracted to do the roof and gutter repairs on the house.  We were very impressed with the accessibility, as well as the time that Brian took to explain the work to be completed, as well as his professionalism and that of his team. Due to this fact, we chose to have a lot more work completed by NVC. Last March, (after the ice storms)- they responded quickly and re-roofed our house as part of our insurance claim, and they also re-roofed our garage, re-screened & painted our porch, as well as blew in insulation into the walls at the same time. We finished up the insurance claim this February after some back and forth with the insurance company. NVC was very supportive and helpful as they worked with our insurance company to help us get what we deserved (and should have gotten from the beginning) from the claim. In fact, we wanted to put our house up for sale this March, but still had work left to do (i.e. the other side of our roof, painting of the trim & exterior, new gutters and some odds & ends to repair). We were not sure if it could happen before we put it up for sale, but Brian and his team made it all come together in a week's time!  Plus- due to the seasonal warmth, they were able to paint our house in three days! We were amazed and thrilled at the quality and timeliness of the work done. Each and every one of his employees was extremely professional, tidy, and a pleasure to work with. Above that, they all listened and attended to any and all items we needed... definitely going above the call of duty to help us get our house ready to be sold. We recommend them highly and would definitely use them again!"

"The gas company came in to replace a meter.  They found that the vinyl siding company we used in the past had cut and covered the safety valve.  The one night that it's super cold out, the gas company had to shut off our gas (heat)!! I called Richard at 9:00pm.  He got back to me first thing in the morning and had his crew take care of it by 7:30am.  They are really THE BEST!!  The gas company is here now and hopefully we'll have heat soon."

"We hired Bert and Fay in December to renovate our second floor. The second floor was only one large unfinished room with one lightbulb hanging from ceiling that was used as storage space. Bert and Fay took it upon themselves to speak to our neighbors to find the best options for renovations that would save space and suit our needs. They began the work by removing a small closet on the first floor and installing a staircase leading to the second floor. They separated the space upstairs into 2 rooms and a bathroom also constructing closets in each of the rooms. They installed multiple electrical outlets and switches plus ceiling fans in each of the rooms. This project also included installation of ceilings and walls with new insulation throughout and the installation of the flooring in the bathroom. They cut out a 4 x 8 window that overlooks the living room. They were extremely helpful in recommending color schemes for the 2 rooms and the bathroom. They fixed the walls downstairs where the closet had been removed and they also fixed where the pull down stairs had been for the attic. It is also important to note that they did considerable free work by removing and transporting many items that had been stored in the attic to the town dump. In summary, Bert and Fay demonstrated excellent home improvement, construction skills to include expertise in planning of the needed repairs, choice of needed materials and the high degree of actual performance. Their additional knowledge of related activities, ie..electrical and heating issues, insulation requirements and many other related tasks, makes them an excellent resource in the area of housing construction and renovation."
