Many cabinets use “J-pulls” or other handless designs. However, frequent use also gets these areas very dirty over time. Cabinets typically don't require complex cutting or even complex joinery. Of course, some custom cabinets may include these things, but constructing high-quality and attractive cabinets is something that DIYers with moderate skills can handle. Building cabinets isn't hard. However, it's essential to take your time, at least on the first few, to get the hang of it.
