"Jim is local.  It went great. Jim Ferrell is a professional of the highest caliber. Responded quickly, took care of my problems, and advised me as to better means of protection than I had. He came back a second time to uninstall software that I purchased that did not provide adequate protections and installed free software that would do the job.  He did the work through remote connection, but is available on site if necessary.
For those people needing help on getting red of malware, viruses , etc. on your computer,  Jim is local, better than all thse remote out of state location providers, is a mature, highly trained professional in this area.
If you go to local computer stores you get very young people that can do a basic job, but are no where near the professional level of Jim.
I highly recommend Jim to anyone that needs these type services.

   There was an initial mixup with the date of service, but it was quickly remedied

"Company did a good job last summer with 3 bay windows, so I called them back when the rest of the windows in the house needed to be replaced. On the initial visit, I told the rep that I wanted the same windows as last year. He quickly found the job order and picked up the details of the window make/model/etc without any need for me to reinvent the order. The company had the opportunity to try to upsell me, as I asked them about replacement of the skylight in the bathroom. Refreshingly, they declined to do so and told me that it would be much better to wait until we needed to get the roof re-done, and to do the window at that time. As before, the first guy clearly explained the process: guy 1 to take the order and measure the windows, later follow-up visit from guy 2 to remeasure all the windows carefully before ordering their construction, and then a couple of months later, a follow-up call from their HQ to schedule the install. He gave me an approximate window for this scheduling call. It was a pretty broad time-frame because there had been an unusually large number of people needing custom windows. As before, everything went off exactly as the rep indicated. The install team showed up within a half-hour of the estimated time, and installed 11 windows without taking a break. They removed every scrap of rubbish, vacuumed thoroughly, and left the place as clean as it was when they arrived."

Richard and the team found the right boiler for our home's layout and our needs. They installed the boiler, took the other one away, and we barely knew they were there! To top it all off, they even took care of the rebate from National Grid and just took that amount straight off the already very reasonable bottom line! What other firm would do that? These guys are great and I will continue to use them for all kinds of work around our home! "However, as of Monday it will be almost a week since I have heard back and the only feedback I got was a promise to get back to me by the end of the day with a quote after I EMAILED HIM!
I have had so many handmen and contractors not call me back, or are unavailable. I was really excited to find someone and get started.
I felt like it shouldn't take this long to get an estimate on the work and I would rather be told straight forward that the project would not be big enough or the schedule did not work. If I am having this much trouble getting an estimate, what about the work?
