We were getting some water in our basement which has a stack-stone foundation and radiant floor heating. We interviewed three companies and were particularly concerned about a solution that would stop the water without compromising the radiant tubes that were in the floor. Initially, Pioneer recommended a baseboard system that would run along the outside of the wall. Upon inspection, Mike Oliveira discussed a traditional drain to sump pump solution. We reiterated our concern about puncturing a tube in the floor and Mike assured us that he and his team would hand chisel potential problem areas to avoid the tubing. "THEY WERE THERE ON TIME AND TOOK A TOUR OF THE HOUSE TO CHECK LAY OUT AND COUNT THE VENTS. WE HAD MORE THEN THE DEAL ALLOWED SO THE PRICE WENT UP FROM 89.00 TO AN ADDITIONAL 230.00 DOLLARS. "We had two cracks in our foundation. One crack was much more severe than the other. For the mason contractors to properly fix the inside and outside of the cracked foundation they had to take out an old concrete patio slab. They fixed the foundation cracks and put in a new slab, filled in three basement windows, replaced two basement windows, installed two window wells, installed drainage pipe for gutter run off, and added fill around the foundation to make positive grade. Serena and Bo kept us in the loop every day to tell us what work was being performed for each day. We will definitely be using Staats Masonry again for any of our other future concrete jobs."
