I was satisfied with the quality of the work except for one thing: the technician who replaced my broken humidifier left one fastener too loose, and I found it leaking water onto my basement floor. I tightened it myself with a screwdriver and it was fine, but if I had not checked it as soon as I did, it would have been a nasty flood."

"Zach Brown initially came to fix leaking water situation and then realized there was damage due to water seepage. After that damage is repaired, Zach will return to put plumbing back in order, including replacing faucets which had to be cut out to allow removal of granite countertop, reconnect water lines and possibly reinstall a new Reverse Osmosis system since the old one had to be removed. Can't say enough about Zach -- his professionalism, his explanation of what's being done and options for replacing/improving plumbing under kitchen sink, pipes, etc."

"We have a house that has Orangeburg sewer pipes, which are made from paper. We also have two 50 year old maple trees in our front yard whose roots grow into these pipes. We have not replaced the pipes because this would probably cause us to lose the trees,  which shade the house and provide privacy. Periodically we have to have the pipes cleared of the tree roots.  We saw a coupon on Angie's List for the service at Milltown Plumbing and decided to purchase it, as it was definitely a bargain. We called and were able to make a quick appointment, which was great as we were leaving for vacation the following week. I have to say that the service was great and uneventful. As we have had this done a few times in the past, the service being uneventful was a really good thing.  The last time we had it done, the person doing it didn't have the right size cover to put back on the sewer pipe and had to leave to get one.  There is no using any plumbing in a house with no cover on the sewer pipe, not to mention the fumes that escape.  Cody, from Milltown Plumbing, showed up on time, performed the work and the greatest part was he did not make a mess. He also saw a problem with the drain of our laundry area sink and fixed that as well. Dealing with Milltown Plumbing was a pleasant experience from start to end."

"Diagnosis and repair were straightforward and the talented Mike, who has done other great work for us on our ACs, had a replacement pump in his truck. Swapped over in under an hour. Cost of the repair was quite high, mainly due to very high price they charged for the pump. A Taco pump that I could buy for $175 was priced on this repair at more than $500. I get that it was an urgent situation and I’m happy to pay reasonably for the response but that mark-up bothered me. I called the office, had a long talk with the owner; sadly, she offered no consideration at all. Yes, it’s hard to find and keep skilled techs, but now seems that most HVAC firms have a business model like a car dealer’s service dept, far more corporate, less flexible or customer-considerate."
