The owner came highly recommended, he came out to provide a quote, seemed friendly, knowledge. He let us know he treats ALL his customers like family. The workers came in did their thing, all very nice, respectful & worked as a team rather quickly. It wasn’t until we had an issue between what was done and what was written in the contract. The job was incomplete and we addressed our concerns. We didn’t hear back right away and in fear we wouldn’t get a response we stopped payment on the 2nd check to ensure my contract was going to be fulfilled. The owner called at that point upon learning the check was stopped to complain we stopped payment on the 2nd check on something “so small” He couldn’t seem to understand why we did that, and made us feel as if this shouldn’t have been a big deal and we shouldn’t have stopped payment on the check. Well I’m sorry but $15K isn’t small to us and we have a legal contract in place stating everything that needed to be done and it wasn’t. I did feel stopping payment was the right thing to do because had we NOT done that I truthfully do not think we would have heard back from him. A worker was sent out to fix the problem but after being asked numerous times when we would be paying the final portion. It wasn’t until we needed to finally turn on our brand new A/C unit that we discovered yet another problem, it didn’t even work. The temp upstairs was very uncomfortable and we couldn’t sleep at which point I called the number on my thermostat because I was told that’s the number to use whenever we have a problem. I called the number and it went directly to the owner. He wasn’t pleased that I was calling at the hour, what did I want him to do about it and he would call us the next day- CLICK!! Next day came 10:45am and still NO call. I guess this wasn’t a concern for this owner. I called him and asked why haven’t I heard from him, we discussed what took place during the initial install, I expressed my frustration AGAIN as a customer. He honestly could have cared less, not sympathetic at all. He told me he would see about getting someone out to look at it and would call me back. Noon time still no word, decided to take a walk with my son and 5 min into the walk I get a call from the service man that he will be at my house in 10 minutes.... my son was extremely upset he couldn’t finish his walk, he is autistic & doesn’t handle a change in his plan/routine very well- I called the owner and it went to voicemail. He called me back about 5 minutes later to ask me why I was calling. I asked him why he didn’t call me back to let me know his service man was coming at 12:30. He asked me what I wanted him to do about it because the service man was already there. I explained that wasn’t my point and that I’m upset because HE didn’t call me back to let me know he has someone that can come out at 12:30 and to ask me if that would be okay. I wouldn’t have taken my son out for a walk and I could have avoided him getting upset. He told me he didn’t understand my issue which at that point I got extremely upset, I told him I was upset, and that he clearly DID NOT understand my issue or care about his customers so I hung up on him. The service man was very nice that came out. He showed me the problem, the wiring was NEVER connected for the A/C. I believe when the owner and I spoke he was making it seem as if my issues were not valid because they did a great job, and his company doesn’t “ half ***” it ( in his words). My wires were NOT even connected what do you call that? I haven’t even received a phone call from the owner to talk to me about what the problem was. Horrible company I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone. I work in customer service and deal with escalations and I would NEVER treat my customers this way, and it’s not even my own company. 👎🏻 I’ll be getting a service contract from someone else.
