Customers say: Quality work
"This is the third time I called P Floros Plumbing and Heating for somewhat of an emergency. It was Saturday morning, and Petros was at my door within a half hour. He assessed the problem and fixed in immediately. His charge was more than reasonable. Petros is a life-saver. I would recommend him highly, and I have. I can't thank them enough. He is my go to guy, for sure. Personable, kind, and efficient. No brainer. Call him first!

Customers say: True professional
"I had two different leakages in a row with my toilet drain and sprinkler pipe in a row. Mike has been always responsive even without a dedicated phone receptionist. He came to my house on time, pinpointed the real issues quickly and fixed both issues on the spot with high quality. The price was very reasonable. I will definitely go to Mike for future plumbing helps."

"The work performed in the abandonment of the underground oil tank was done in a very professional manner by the assigned workers. From the moment they arrived, they explained every detail on how the job was going to be accomplished. Once they had the tank exposed, they examined it for any leakage and cleaned it of its residue in preparation for inspection by the city's fire department. Once the City of Yonkers Fire Department made its inspection and determined that there was no spillage, the tank was then filled with the appropriate material and closed. The area was then prepared and returned to its present condition.
While all of this was being done, another member of the team was engaged in the installation of the new above ground oil tank. The installation entailed running a line from the new tank, around two sides of the house, to the boiler room. Once the installation was completed we were instructed on the functioning of the tank.
The work was performed in a very professional manner and to our satisfaction. The workers knew what needed to be done and did it with care and left the place meticulous. It is without hesitation that I highly recommend them for your needs.

"Ken, at Coastal Plumbing was the only business I could find that could respond immediately. I needed hot water, as my old tank had been drained due to significant leaking. Not only did he respond immediately but he called me as he was obtaining the new heater to ask about measurements and available space. He worked efficiently and used high quality work practices to ensure no leaks. He used state of the art connectors on the water pipes that I had never seen before. Ken is pleasant and his pricing is reasonable. I am a very satisfied customer."

"Pedro was very easy to work with. Background: We had a french drain and drainage installed due to flooding. Prior to that work, the basement was already finished, but this work required us to need a new floor and baseboards. We had tile down and wanted to put an laminate down. After talking with Pedro prior to any work being done (during the consult), it was decided to see if it was better to level the floor to the remaining tile or jack hammering all the remaining tile up. We had an idea of the product we wanted, and he was able to recommend a different version of the product that was better that we were not aware existed. Our basement baseboards were tricky. We were told to use PVC wood, but Pedro recommended against it since it was an enclosed space that we would be using and that is known to release toxins. Once work started: Pedro and the men were such hard workers. The time they arrived in the morning could vary depending on if they went to Home Depot first. The time they left depended on how much they wanted to complete before they left. Every night they cleaned up (and this was a space we weren't using at all.) Each day I got an update on the status. While laying the floor, Pedro had to work around drains in the floor. With the french drain, we had this plastic wall trim to have water drain into from the wall. It was very ugly and couldn't be kept as is since part of the tile behind it was destroyed. Pedro worked with me to create a nice looking baseboard with a gap to allow for the water to drain into the french drain. We also decided last minute to make a small cellar room (with stone foundation walls) into a real room with insulation and walls! They were able to get that done as well and it looks amazing. (I didn't rate price, because I didn't comparison shop. I had originally contacted Pedro and got a quote. Then ended up contacting him to find out when he could do it and was told the following week. I wanted the basement job finished before I went back to work so didn't bother to comparison shop.)"

Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.

The cost to install a drain pipe is $600 on average, but the total can range between $150 and $2,000. Some cost factors that influence your project price include the type of drain, the area’s accessibility, the proximity of existing drain lines, and whether you’re installing a new drain or replacing an old one. Replacing the p-trap or s-trap under a single fixture will usually cost around $150, while replacing a main drain pipe can cost well over $2,000.
Yes, most states require plumbers to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed plumber could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.

We highly recommend leaving the work of replacing drain pipes to a professional plumber. Drain pipes are a key part of your plumbing system, and making mistakes during the installation or even using the wrong size pipes for your specific fixture can lead to an elevated risk of leaks and clogs. Additionally, drain pipes prevent harmful sewer gas from entering your home, so hiring a professional plumber is essential to keeping the risk of leaks and clogs low and avoid reducing your indoor air quality.
