"Very friendly and kind and timely. I had a kitchen sink that would not drain and a faucet that kept dripping in my kitchen sink they were able to clear the drain so my sink would drain and on top of that they fix the dripping faucet. The best part is there was not a trace of any kind of work being done as they cleaned up behind themselves perfectly. I would highly recommend them"

"Your company is outstanding and we are extremely happy. Our technician Garett was prompt and polite. He was very knowledgeable and explained things about our situation that we were totally unaware of. Potentially saving us time and money down the road. Garrett was attentive to our to our needs and was very careful of our pets as he was working. We would definitely use Beacon Drain Service again."

"They started early in the morning and Ronaldo has taught them the art of pruning so the bushes and hedges do not look like the tops have been sawed off (which is what most other companies do).  They also pulled out all the ivy and cut out any trees that had started to grow in the hedges. Also, they did not just weed whack the weeds - they actually got down and pulled out each individual weed which was a lot of work.  By doing this it ensured that the weeds were gone and did not pop up again a week later.  A really, really outstanding job. I must say, when they were finished our yard was the best looking on the block.  I definitely encourage others to use Ronaldo's services as he deserves an A+.."

French Drains FAQs, answered by experts

To get rid of a sewer smell in your crawl space, you’ll have to find the source of the problem. If it has to do with your sewer lines, then repairing the line will help. You may need to make other repairs, like fixing your sump pump or encapsulating your crawl space to reduce moisture. After you make the repair, depending on the issue, you may still need to clean out your crawl space to get rid of the stink.

In most areas, drain cleaning professionals don’t technically need a license, as they aren’t altering your plumbing system in any way. However, we recommend hiring a drain cleaning professional with a plumbing license and certification. Certified plumbers are more likely to provide professional solutions to drain clogs without damaging your system. They’ll also have the diagnostic tools and experience necessary to remove the clog entirely rather than providing a temporary solution, as a handyperson might. Use Angi’s state licensing tool to check your plumber’s professional licenses before hiring.

Clearing typically takes 1-2 hours, depending on the blockage size and location.

It can take anywhere from half an hour to a few hours to fix a main line clog, depending on the cause and severity of it. The job should not take more than a day to complete. Keep in mind that the main line is not the same as your home’s sewer lines (which connect to the main line and run to your house). Your city is responsible for any clogs or damage to the main line itself.

Yes, you can pour water down the toilet to help it flush. For each flush, you’ll need 1 to 2 gallons of water for newer toilets or 3 to 5 gallons of water for older toilets. Rather than dumping the entire bucket in all at once, pour the water in slowly for the best results. If you’re pouring water down the toilet to help it flush after a clog, only use 1 gallon of hot water.
