"We did not go with them because they were too expensive. They were very kind, very punctual and the gentleman was very thorough. Everything was good as far as the overall coming out and giving the estimate. The price for the evaluation was perfect for what I needed."

"Michael was a pleasure to deal with. He showed up on time to assess the job and did so thoroughly. He also provided a written estimate in just a few days and when he promised. We received 3 estimates for the job from 3 different contractors and his bid was lower than the highest bid and just a couple of hundred dollars higher than the lowest bid. We went with Michael because I especially liked the thought process he showed in assessing the work (which gave me a good sense of confidence in him) and because I found him very easy to deal with and talk to.
The work did not start for several weeks due to previous work commitments Michael had, but that was just as Michael had told us to expect. As the scheduled start time approached Michael was very good about keeping in touch and letting us know what to expect.
Once the work was started it was completed promptly. Michael had 2 to 3 other men working with him who worked diligently. The work was finished on time time except for a one day rain delay which was completely justified.
The quality of the work done was very good. Clean up after the job was completed was also good. There was one small issue with the reassembly of the steps down to the back deck. However, once that was pointed out to Michael, he thought through the problem and happily corrected it to our satisfaction.
Based on our experience, we highly recommend Michael A. Foote Remodeling and would welcome the chance to use his services again in the future,
"

The best type of insulation for your home depends on what you need, so the answer will depend on your specific situation. If you’re building a house, structural panels are easy to install during the building process in addition to being the most energy efficient type. If you live in a warm climate, reflective insulation may benefit you more as it costs less than other insulation types. And for standard attics, loose-fill, spray foam, or blown-in insulation work well.
If you plan to heat or cool your garage, you’ll need to insulate the garage ceiling. Insulating your garage ceiling will make your garage much more energy efficient and save on heating and cooling costs. Not only does insulation make your garage more energy efficient, it helps reduce noise and can extend the life of your garage roof. You can use fiberglass, cellulose, mineral wool, or spray foam insulation for this project.
