The crew put in two (2) ten (10) hour days as they encountered a good deal of unexpected rot in the roofing frame behind the fascia boards.. This rot, of course, had to be replaced with new wood. Luis and I negotiated a reasonable additional cost to handle the extra time needed to accomplish this replacement that could not have been foreseen during the initial assessment on which the job estimate was based.
