Customers say: Quality work

"I had initially intended to hire Dardah landscaping service to replace our concrete driveway which was in bad shape. However after talking with Raphael who came to give me the estimate, I was convinced to use pavers for the driveway to freshen up the look. Raphael and his team did a fantastic job for. We needed to have two covered drainages installed with cover for the driveway which wasnâ t an easy task and had some complications. Raphael figured the way to do it and connected To the down sprouts. I was veryimpressed by his attention to details and his problem solving skills.. He completed the work as promised in a week. I was so pleased with the quality of his work, I ended up to have the asphalt part of the work done by him, even though I had already planned to be done by another contractor. He has delivered top quality work at a reasonable cost. Iâ ll hire him for any future jobs."

"We had a great experience with Joel and his team on the garage floor in our new home. From the start, communication was clear and professional, and they showed up exactly when they said they would. The team, which included Joel and his sons, was efficient, respectful of the space, and clearly knew what they were doing. The finished floor looks fantastic. Clean lines, even coating, and a really high-quality result that completely elevates the garage. You can tell they take pride in their work and don’t cut corners. If you’re looking for a reliable crew that delivers exactly what they promise, I would absolutely recommend Joel and his team. We’re very happy with the outcome and would use them again without hesitation."

Concrete Mudjacking questions, answered by experts

Generally speaking, push piers—or steel piers—are the best option for underpinning, as they reach down to solid bedrock to find support for your foundation rather than relying on soil, which could be subject to the same issues as the soil directly below your foundation. However, the best underpinning method for your home depends on your location, how far down the bedrock is, and the type of soil in your area. Helical piers are usually the best option for sandy soil or in areas where the bedrock is too deep to use steel piers.

Polyjacking and mudjacking can both be effective solutions for sinking concrete, but they have key differences. Polyjacking, which uses expanding polyurethane foam, is often considered a better option because the foam is significantly lighter than the cementitious material used for mudjacking. This reduced weight puts less pressure on the underlying soil and lowers the risk of future sinking. Polyjacking is suitable for any sinking concrete slab, while mudjacking is typically only recommended for non-structural concrete, such as sidewalks, patios, pool decks, and driveways. The primary drawback of polyjacking is its cost, which can be up to four times higher than mudjacking—as much as $25 per square foot compared to a maximum of about $6 per square foot for mudjacking.

The timeframe is generally a few hours, allowing for immediate use post-hydration, ensuring minimal disruption to surrounding activities.

Polyjacking can be a permanent solution to sunken concrete if you also address the underlying issue—like poor drainage—at the same time. The polyurethane material itself can last as long as or even outlast the concrete you’re lifting it with. Your sunken concrete issue will likely return if you don’t couple polyjacking with proper drainage to prevent future soil movement and sinking.

Mudjacking is usually reserved for light-duty slabs, like patios, driveways, and sidewalks. However, it can be an effective way to lift garage slabs and concrete around the perimeter of the home, which could harm your foundation if it’s not done properly. The risk of damage is why having a professional mudjacking company carry out the work is important. This type of slab or foundation repair is relatively inexpensive, especially if you consider that a DIY job requires that you pay to rent the necessary equipment.
