The two technicians who performed the work were very professional and worked hard to overcome some unforeseen installation difficulties. From my initial e-mail to the installation of the cap, Chimney Chap was very responsive. I contacted several companies and got estimates for the work, which included removing the rusted damper and replacing the chimney cap with a new stainless steel cap. 5 Star had the best price by far, and had a lot of experience doing this work. The gentleman who came out and gave me the estimate was very nice and very knowledgeable, answering all my questions. Scheduling the work was easy and they were able to accommodate my work schedule. The work was done this morning. They were very clean, showed me how to use the new chimney cap, and even cleaned out the chimney. They were in and out in less than an hour and the price was as estimated."

"Excellent communication! Perhaps the best I’ve seen from a contractor. While waiting to get installation done, they checked in with me on dates and always called me back if I had questions. The took a look at the roof and suggested fixing the chimney first . We had that capped and some bricks replaced with a contractor they referred. The following week they came and did the roof and leaf gutters in 1 day. They cleaned up very well afterward. When I saw a lose shingle in the yard this spring, I called them and they sent someone out to look right away (it was just an extra shingle). The were great to work with and I would not hesitate to hire them again."

"My chimney was not in good condition. The sun was shining through between the bricks, not up to code and no cap in place. Gordy repointed the entire chimney, extended the flue to bring it up to code, installed a cap and swept/cleaned it. Gordy is a very nice guy and did good work for a reasonable price. I would recommend and use his services again."
