"We installed a new air conditioner and we had a complicated electrical situation. This team worked diligently to find the right solution and worked weekend hours to make sure it was completed on time. They had the right attitude and were kind and respectful throughout. "I called Viscarello Plumbing and Heating when I had a leaking water heater. Chris looked at the job and recommended a very efficient tankless water heater. I decided to make the investment. Chris and crew installed my tankless. Now, showers never run cold-hot water on demand. I use less water- warms water up so much quicker in my 110y/o house. In July, with tankless system running sinks, shower and washer, my gas bill was $20! I also really like the way the tankless was mounted on the wall. We gained more space without the old water heater in the way. Best of all- nice neat work, no leaks and no mess. Since then, Viscarello Plumbing has plumbed my new kitchen, laundry room, replaced old pipes and replaced radiator valves. Rates are average-but work is above average."

"Anthony called right away and showed up on time. Both Anthony and Patrick were professional, knowledgeable and efficient. They walked in the door and immediately put on their booties. They installed a ceiling fan in my bedroom and a light over my painting. They vacuumed and cleaned up after they finished the job. They are a new company and young but I would hire them again because they know what they are doing."

"Our oil burner cracked and needed to be replaced. The burner heats our water, so we would be without hot water until we replaced the burner. Steve Chamber arrived quickly, provided a competitive quote and got the oil burner installed and our hot water restored within a few days.. The final bill was exactly what was quoted and they cleaned up after themselves, even removing the cardboard boxes. I highly recommend Chamber HVAC and love that it is a family owned and operated business!"

Nest Installation questions, answered by experts

The time it takes for termites to damage a house varies, but it generally does not happen within days or weeks. Significant structural damage typically takes several months or years to occur, with serious damage often taking 3 to 8 years. The rate of destruction depends on factors like the termite colony's size and maturity, the type of wood they are feeding on, and local conditions. It can take 3 to 5 years for damage to become visible and 5 to 6 years for the home's structural integrity to be compromised. However, some species, such as Subterranean termites, are more destructive and can cause extensive damage in as little as 2 years. Because of this risk, it is important to treat your home as soon as you notice any signs of termites.

Yes, it’s possible for bats in your attic to find a way into your living spaces. Until you can properly remove the bats, the best course of action is to keep the attic doors closed and any holes sealed. Evidence suggests bats follow the airflow in your home, so they may try escaping from the attic to other parts of the house.

Leaving lights on is not an effective or foolproof method for keeping cockroaches away. While roaches are nocturnal and prefer darkness, light alone is not enough to stop them, especially if they are seeking food, water, or shelter. A bright light might temporarily discourage them, but hungry or determined roaches will often adapt and venture into lit areas. For more effective cockroach control, it is better to focus on proven prevention methods. These include maintaining cleanliness by eliminating food crumbs, sealing cracks and entry points, reducing clutter that provides hiding spots, and fixing any moisture issues. Using traps or repellents can also be part of a comprehensive strategy.

Groundhogs are definitely cute, but it’s usually not a good idea to have them living in your yard. Not only can groundhogs tear up your grass and create unsightly holes and burrows, but they can also carry infectious diseases that are dangerous to humans.

Homes provide a stable environment with ample hiding spots, warmth, and protection from the elements, making them ideal habitats for spiders. The presence of insects within homes serves as a major food source for spiders, enticing them to establish their webs or burrows in and around residential structures. The nooks and crannies of homes provide perfect locations for spiders to construct webs or lay in wait for unsuspecting prey.
