  I have known Dough Goodnow and his colleagues for more than 20 years. A sampling of some of the tasks Dough has completed for me includes: supervising the construction of a house in Florence Ma, installing flooring in my kitchen and dining room, renovating and finishing my basement, and installing a natural gas heating system in a Northampton location. He even made built in bench seating for my dining area and fixed rotten wood on my porch and fixed my sunken couch. He is an immensely talented man who I believe can do virtually anything in the construction/renovation domain. Beyond that Dough is a kind person with great integrity and a fine individual. His work was always completed in a timely fashion and he has often saved me quite a bit of money like when he obtained left over beautiful flooring from another project he was working on.   We needed a mother-in-law suite of rooms (which meant we then needed a replacement living room and kitchen as a new build extension) but we also needed to go overseas for the most part of a year. We spoke with several contractors but as soon as we met Bill LaBombard and sons from AIP we knew nobody could hold a candle to them. This huge project with the house laid bare inside to make new spaces took place while we were away. That is how much entirely warranted trust we placed in AIP’s abilities. With a few trips home for important consultation and many Skype meetings and shared Google docs, everything was completed to perfection and to schedule. AIP are detail-oriented, skilled and knowledgeable, great at communication, and so swift at grasping one's intent. They worked hard to meet our budget, had spot on answers to every question we had, and in every aspect of this project they exceeded all expectations. And the cherry on top is that they are such thoroughly nice people. To have that combination of outstanding skill sets and absolute sterling character is a rare and special thing. We are scratching around for another project just to work with them againshow more

  For months we tried to find a contractor in the area who does superb work for a fair price. As most of us know, this is VERY difficult to do! Fortunately we found Doug Fuller through word of mouth, and we're very grateful to have done so. He met with us several times as we planned and priced the project - he was very patient as we sorted through what we wanted and what we could afford. He was prompt, dependable, and we ended up with exactly what we wanted for a very fair price. Once he started building, he told me that they would be on site each day following until the project was done. Although it sounded too good to be true, he did in fact follow through with that promise. He never made us wait for him to bounce between jobs. The entire project was completed in the time frame that he promised, at the price he promised (plus a few add-ons that we put in during the construction). The five members of his crew were always prompt and courteous, and maintained a clean and safe worksite. We also found all of his subs (plumber, electrician, heating/cooling) to be prompt, courteous and expert. We truly enjoyed getting to know his team. Finish carpentry is at a premium in our area, and I'm so grateful for Scott, who does the finish work for Fuller Construction. Scott is a master carpenter who does superb detail work. The finish work that he did for our trim and our built-in bookshelf is excellent - we couldn't be happier. If you have need for finish work - he's your guy. Overall a great experience - we will use Fuller Construction again, and recommend them highlyshow more

  This is my second time hiring BBB. Previously, they did over my bathroom & buoy a new one in the basement. This time I had a leaky skylight in the closed in breezeway that has been leaking for quite some time & causing a fair amount of damage. I contacted BBB & got an estimate with work started & completed within two weeks. They gave me a very detailed estimate with a time table on what was going to happen & when. When the job before mind ran late, I got two notices that work would begin a day late. They crew did a fabulous job with new skylights & ceiling that look great. The roof looks like the windows were magically put in with no change to the roof. The crew was courteous, timely & very professional. BBB is my go to for any repair/construction work I need.   It was great! The crew was on time, wore masks for COVID precautions, were super polite and got the job done quickly. They cleaned up after the work was done and it couldn’t have gone smoother. If you’re in western Mass or the surrounding area, and need work done to your house, hire Class!

  Having had bad experiences with contractors in the past, we were very fussy and interviewed a number of contractors. My husband and I chose Haydenville Woodworking & Design to build our new addition which included adding a downstairs bedroom complete with accessible bathroom and walk in closet. The workers were courteous, neat and very thorough. Their work was excellent. We really appreciated Zinnia Stetson, one of the owners ,who worked with us, making sure we were informed of what and when to expect things to be completed. Although not an easy task and the reason we hired a contractor, Zinnia kept her crew and various subcontractors on task. She was great to work with. CCI renovated the downstairs of our home, including a kitchen and building an addition. Our home is breathtaking-our friends and family are literally astounded by the professional quality of the work and the beauty of it. Bob, the owner of CCI, is a skilled craftsman, is responsive and answers all questions and concerns. His crew are respectful and competent and also communicate effectively. They are trustworthy and were in and out of our home for just over a year-without incident or issue. Bob has vision and knows what will and will not work. Many other contractors we have worked with in the past give low bids then find issues that up the price. Bob prices jobs accordingly and in a straightforward manner.
