Both parts of the ambitious two-part project (front of the barn (rustic red) & street-facing side of the house (extreme white) + painting and hanging 13 solid wood shutters-satin black); driveway-facing side of the house that required covering many windows) + painting the front door were completed in just four days. As an unexpected but highly welcome bonus, Tony had Nelci and Milton paint the front porch decking. I solicited quotes from five contractors and my wife and I are more than delighted with the flawless result. "I obtained three estimates and CBC Painting was in the middle. I chose CBC Painting due to the reviews on Angie's List.
The work was scheduled and began on time. The work crew was friendly and worked hard. Bob (owner of CBC Painting) had his partner on site during the execution of the job the majority of the time.
Unfortunately, during the spraying of the roof overhang, a paint spray gun malfunctioned which resulted in paint over-spray getting on a newly resurfaced deck and some exterior doors. I contacted Bob and he came promptly the same day to review the problem as well as other questions I had. Bob had the deck resurfaced and all exterior doors repainted the next day. Additionally, the crew reinspected all spray work and repainted virtually all of it.
Bottom line...... things happen with any project. The mark of a truly fine contractor is how they react to the problem. CBC went above and beyond to address all of my concerns and correct the over-spray problem. We were very satisfied with the final product.
