"Brandon was quick to respond, came out shortly after first contact to give a free quote which was very reasonable. He prepped the walls and installed a beautiful tile backsplash in my kitchen. He was professional, tidy, and detail oriented throughout the project. Highly recommend and will definitely hire again for any future tiling needs."

"Pat and Rick took a lot of care protecting our marble countertops and Wood floors both days they worked. Pat was very helpful with selection of materials and colors and was patient as we made decisions about tiles and grout color. The marble backsplash looks beautiful! Highly recommend Pat and his team!!"

"Ramy did an incredible job taking our old, outdated, and unsafe kitchen and turning it into a beautiful and modern one. He installed new floor joists, sub-flooring, floor tiling, cabinetry, backsplash tile, and a build-out for our oven hood insert. The process also included knocking out a wall, moving and modifying gas and water lines and many other smaller unforeseen details along the way. We appreciated how informative Ramy was as we moved through the process since we'd never taken on something of this size before. He even came with us to help pick out our floor tiles. We were both of a similar mindset that we wanted to focus on quality of all aspects of the job as opposed to making decisions solely based on cost. Do it once, do it right. In the end, this kitchen will last us many years and has alleviated several health and safety concerns that the old kitchen posed to our family. We will certainly be using Ramy's services again for future projects."

"Kevin did a great job with the tile we chose. He paid attention to the little details that make a big difference, like pulling the baseboards and tiling up to the walls and then replacing with new baseboard trim. He installed the new vanity we had chosen and tiled under it, instead of around it as the original builder had done. When there was a gap between our cabinets and the floor he worked with us to select the right shade of trim pieces to make it look finished. Our front door needed a special piece made to overlay the tile which he also did. He even helped repair (replace) a leaky valve for the washing machine in the laundry. Bottom line is we could not have been happier with the job. The only caveat for other readers is that he works alone and you'll need to allow slightly longer for the job than others might quote. You won't regret it if you can budget the time."

"Carlos, and his work crew are top shelf! Installed hardwood flooring. Customer service is outstanding, price very competitive, fair and reasonable. I will definitely hire him in future house projects in the near future. His crew also installed a backsplash that creates a modern style atmosphere"

Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts

If you’re out of spacers for your tile installation, you can use pennies. Each time you place a tile, stick the pennies around the edges (on the sides and the corners). Like working with spacers, you’ll want the same amount of space around each tile before they set.

Yes, it’s always a good idea to keep a box or two of spare tiles after a home renovation project. Tiles can crack from improper installation, heavy foot traffic, and impact from drops. Having some extra tile on hand can make replacement fast, easy, and affordable. Plus, some manufacturers might discontinue particular colors or styles, and slight variations in tile colors between batches could mean mismatched tiles even if your product isn’t discontinued. Having a few spare tiles in storage can help avoid these issues, as well.

There isn’t a one-size-fits-all best tile for a dog shower. Consider your budget, tile durability, aesthetics, and, most importantly, practicality. Avoid tiles your dog will slide around on. Pebbles are a great non-slip option, but are pricey and tricky to install. Glass might look modern, but it’s not scratch-resistant. Small, floor-rated ceramic or porcelain tiles are economical and have many grout lines that make the surface more slip-resistant. Pick a matte finish rather than a shiny tile if you want it to hide stray mud and hairs better.

Ideally, you should remove tile before installing hardwood floors, but there are good reasons not to. Removing stubborn tile can be a labor-intensive job that adds days to the project. The subfloor beneath the tiles could also be damaged during the process, meaning you’d have to repair the subfloor before installing the new hardwood floor.

The tile trim you use will depend on a few factors, including design preferences, budget, and whether the project is DIY or not. You might choose plastic trim if you want an easier DIY job that is more budget-friendly. There are also more color options available in plastic. On the other hand, you might choose metal to match your fixtures or for areas with heavy use.
