After he found out that our Jacuzzi hot tub would be too old to replace the parts and be worth the money, he advised us to simply replace the Jacuzzi tub with a non-jacuzzi one and hire a local plumber to get it done. Biofilm growth can cause a hot tub to feel slimy. Hot tub biofilm is a slimy substance that’s typically due to natural contaminants like makeup, soaps, skin oils, deodorants, or lotions.
