"I had my entire house power washed. The experience was great. Right from the start, I communicated with Dan to arrange the date for the project. He was very professional and personable. When the day came for the project, Sven did a tremendous job power washing the house. He took his time and made sure every inch was completely clean. I wouldn’t hesitate in hiring them again for my power washing needs."

"I agree with all the other reviewers. Everardo was prompt, professional and extremely thorough in power washing our house. He meticulously got every part of the house from top to bottom sparkling clean. The price was resonable for such a complete job and we are thrilled with the results. We will definitely hire him again. He is going to come back to clean the gutters as well."

"Rafael and his team power washed, stained our shingled house, painted the trim, and painted a corrugated metal garage. Many of the house shingles and one fascia board were in poor condition and needed replacement. They replaced and painted a fallen drain pipe. The team did an excellent replacement job. They were a also delightful group to have working on the house. In addition to being very focused and diligent workers, they are cheerful and friendly individuals who work very well together and seem to enjoy each other's company. I will definitely recommend them to friends."

"We've had only great experiences with Fortuna Gutters. We have know one of the owners for several years and can vouch for his honesty and integrity. They recently cleaned our dryer vent and ductwork and did a great job at a reasonable price. They were professional and followed through on everything we discussed. I highly reccomend."

Pressure Washing questions, answered by experts

It’s important to avoid power washing your house during freezing temperatures because the excess water can freeze on surfaces and cause damage. You should also avoid doing this task during heavy wind or rain because the water spray becomes less effective and could spread debris. Don’t power wash your home if your siding is cracked, loose, or peeling because the high pressure can worsen the damage. Lastly, if your home has delicate materials like softwood or stucco, consider gentler cleaning methods to prevent structural harm.

The cost to pressure wash a house ranges from $200 to $400 and unfortunately does not include fencing. That service will be an additional charge of between $150 and $350, depending on the size of your fence and the type of material it’s made of. This also applies for other services like pressure washing a patio or deck.

You can use a pressure washer to clean a whole host of surfaces. The exterior siding of your house is one of the most popular spots, as well as your driveway, garage floor, patio or deck, and even your outdoor furniture. Just be mindful about the amount of pressure you apply to different materials—concrete can handle a lot more than wood, for example.

Yes, most pressure washing companies use your home's water supply, typically from an outdoor spigot. However, some companies can bring their own water in a tank or truck. This is less common and may incur additional costs for filling and hauling the water. It's a good idea to ask a company which method they use when you call for a cost estimate.

Yes, you can use a pressure washer to effectively clean debris, dirt, and grime from your gutters, but it must be done with caution to avoid damage. Always use a low-pressure setting, with a recommended range between 1,200 and 1,800 PSI. Excessive pressure can bend or dent aluminum gutters, damage seams, peel paint, or even knock shingles off your roof, potentially leading to leaks and moisture issues. For a safer alternative, consider soft washing or cleaning them by hand. When using a pressure washer, it is safer to use gutter elbow extensions from the ground rather than climbing a ladder, as the force can cause instability. Due to the risks, you may want to hire a licensed and insured contractor for the job.
