"Mini Moves came 3 times to move furniture while our floors were being sanded. They were always on time, careful with our furniture (and newly refinished floors), very helpful and really pleasant to work with. The office was also easy to work with and responsive to any questions. I will definitely use them any time I need furniture moved, and highly recommend them."

"The move was very smooth and efficient! The movers were cordial, on time and such a delight to work with. They were very quick in moving our stuff from one apartment to another but ensured that everything was left unscratched or damaged. Would highly recommend Stairhoppers for your next move!"

"Utilizing All Service Moving for the move was a very positive experience. They had good communication, answering several questions prior to the move and did a final confirmation just prior to the move date. As for the physical move itself, Jose, Abraham, and Alberto were polite, diligent, and careful moving the many items, and managed to complete the move more quickly than anticipated."

"Great experience with this company. Price quote was received from owner promptly, and came in at a good price. Delivery was scheduled and the two movers showed up promptly at 8am. They did a great job wrapping the piano, removing it from my father's home and delivering it to my home. Movers were friendly and courteous. I would certainly hire First-Rate Moving again if I needed a mover."

Small jobs welcome

"Hands down the best movers we have ever had -- and we've moved more than a dozen times. Michael, the owner, was uber-responsive (like within minutes ) to every question I had pre-move. On the moving day, the movers were super efficient while taking great care of all of our belongings. The same crew had a late night move the day before ours, and you would have never known it but how much energy and professionalism they brought to our move which was from the 11th floor to the 4th floor across state lines. Bravo!"

Moving questions, answered by experts

Moving in Danvers often involves seasonal maintenance, such as clearing snow from walkways in winter or raking leaves in autumn. If you own a historic home, check for fragile moldings or narrow staircases that may require extra care from local movers. Schedule water meter readings, align trash pickup with moving dates, and keep lawns trimmed to maintain curb appeal for both your old and new property.

Helpful?

When planning moving projects in Danvers, consider peak traffic times on main roads like Route 114, especially during school drop-off hours. Be prepared for weather delays from nor’easters or summer storms. If you’re moving near the Danvers River, account for potential flooding. Coordinate with local movers for proper disposal of packing materials, and check if your neighborhood has restrictions on moving truck parking.

Helpful?

To make moving projects safer and more family-friendly in Danvers, schedule your move outside of winter to avoid icy sidewalks common in neighborhoods like Hathorne. Arrange for supervised play at Endicott Park or a trusted daycare. For pets, use local boarding or keep them contained indoors, following leash laws. Always keep children and pets away from moving trucks, and inform your residential moving team about any onsite animals.

Helpful?

Before contacting moving companies in Danvers, document any historic district restrictions, measure doorways and stairwells for large furniture, and note parking limitations for moving trucks on narrow streets. List any oil tanks, wells, or septic systems on your property. Create an inventory of antiques or climate-sensitive items, photograph valuables for insurance, and check if your neighborhood has HOA guidelines affecting residential moving projects.

Helpful?

Properties in Danvers can complicate moving projects due to narrow colonial doorways, steep staircases, and low ceilings in older homes, especially in the Maple Street historic area. Hilly lots and long driveways may limit moving truck access, particularly after snow. Septic systems, wells, or oil tanks can restrict parking. Protecting original wood floors and stonework is crucial, so inform your moving company about these features in advance.
