There are quick-dry epoxy kits available that cure in 12 hours, though. To ensure that the epoxy dries properly, try to ventilate the bathroom as well as you can.

While battered bathtubs might need to be refinished, bathtub refinishing is worth it, too, because it can make tubs with surface imperfections, shallow cracks and scratches, and staining look like new. Reglazing a bathtub is less expensive than refinishing, and both are less than the cost of bathtub replacement.
