"I had an excellent experience with Andy and his team. I had difficulty finding a competent electrician in my area until I broadened my search and found Eight Electric. Very competent, indeed! At our house, we wanted to move our underground service (relocated the utility power meter to an off-house free-standing support), add a custom industrial remote contactor, add a ground wire and demote the main panel to a distribution panel. This was not a trivial effort to do in one day, especially since the surface was at freezing temps and groundwater filled the trench on the day of work. Eight Electric worked with me to understand my exact requirements, set up the permit and coordinated with the utility. Two experienced electricians and two apprenticing electricians arrived and dug into the task, quite literally. In the end, and despite some late afternoon curveballs, Andy & Co. finished the task and the electrical inspector signed off all in the same day. I especially appreciated that I was allowed to feel I was a valued partner in this effort.
