"I am an avowed DIY-er, but I know my limitations ! In our version of "This Old House", our recent purchase of a 1910 home was in desperate need of new windows. The quotation appointment was prompt, on-time, with options offered for different grade of replacements and features. The price seemed fair (not a bargain basement offer, and VERY far from the 'ridiculous' numbers always put out by an un-named famous national chain). The expectations for installation date range were clearly set (as we all know some of the supply chain challenges we are all currently living with). Installation date was arranged, once they had the units from their supplier. Friendly reminder call the day before, crew of 2 showed up exactly on time, and the work was efficiently and professionally executed. 15 replacements completed on 1st day, and 2 more days (per plan) to complete to work for installing 2 brand new openings for 2 additional windows. Only a few days in, so far - but we could NOT be happier. The work was completed with craftsmanship (see below, as a portion of the work was more than just installing replacements)."

He left us with three different patches of film on our window for a week so we can make a decision based on what kind of light and how it looks with different weather patterns. During the installation process Steve was a professional. Explained the entire process step by step. He was efficient, kind, and informative. "Gusty wind threw a rock and smash one of our storm window. I found Arlmont Glass from Angies List. Called first thing in the morning. I was thinking it is going to be a 2 weeks project (schedule appointment for estimate, and schedule another appointment for work....etc). But April was so extremely helpful. She sent someone over to the house to give an estimate within 2 hours and gave a very reasonable quote. The work was done on the same day as well. Within another few hours, the work was done. While they were there, I also have them fix a piece of glass on our garage door that has a crack. Their quality of work was excellent. Everything was handle with care and they are very professional. Another gem I found on Angies' List. I will definitely use them again for future glass projects."

"All went well. Bob has done a number of jobs for me, and he always does excellent quality work. He is an excellent carpenter and has construction experience, so knows his way up and down and around the house.

Earlier in the summer, he put in some new windows to replace old leaky metal ones, and did a very good job. Helped in selecting a vendor, and then working with the vendor. 

Bob's rates on the high side, I'd say. In his defense, he works very hard and is skilled at what he does, so I'm always pleased with the results."

"We originally hired Chris to install replacement windows. We were extremely please with the job he did and because of that experience we decided to use Chris to paint the outside of our home. We were looking for someone who could both do carpentry and paint because we did not want to have to go through the trouble of using multiple contractors. Chris did an outstanding job on the project. He found that there was extensive damage to the trim and had to replace and repair much more than originally anticipated. He fixed all of the problems that he saw, including many that were out of the scope of the contract. His workmanship is excellent and he took the time to make sure that everything was done right. On the staining he used a combination of spray with brush over. This required extra prep work to cover all of the windows but resulted in excellent coverage and penetration. We have been in the house for over 30 years and can honestly say that this is the best paint job we have had. On top of the outstanding craftsmanship , Chris is very easy to work with. He is an extremely hard worker, he is very respectful and courteous. He took extra time to explain things and to make sure that we were comfortable with everything he was doing. When he was done he cleaned everything up and removed all of the debris. We will definitely use Chris for other projects and would highly recommend him for any painting or remodeling project."
