He quoted me a fixed price, which included all of the major items as well as the small but crucial pieces that I didn't even know that I needed: outside faucet, electrical outlet, linen vent. When some manufacturer issues showed up after the initial installation of 10 power shades in our modern-style house with large window expanses WTI came through solving the most complicated challenges of these windows, even though follow-up visits were needed. When they did that follow-up work to resolve some functional issues in the Hunter-Douglas shades they even upgraded a couple from manual to powered, as a gift for any nuisance caused by the original mechanical shades in those windows. "Horrible customer service and the product is only getting worse over time. I have ordered 16 shutters from them over 5 separate orders during the last two years. A recent order late last year came with parts missing and getting replacement parts was a hassle because I had to provide pictures. How do you provide pictures of missing parts? My most recent order arrived without the mounting strips and blocking strips being pre-drilled. I received the screws and screw covers but no holes for them. After multiple back and forth with "Angie" from customer service I was forwarded a poorly spelled response from their supplier stating "usually" they don't pre-drill holes. Usually? All of my other shutters over the last two years were pre-drilled. I was then told it was my fault because this order was a single panel shutter vs all my previous orders being dual shutters and I would have to pay to get replacement strips with pre-drilled holes in them. What does a single vs a dual shutter have to do with whether or not holes are drilled in hanging and blocking strips?"
