"We hired McLaughlin & Williams through the MassSave program, which had performed an energy saving audit for our house and made a clear checklist of work to be done that we could confirm with the contractors. We scheduled the job months in advance, but they were flexible when we needed to reschedule at relatively short notice. Jay and his team showed up early the first day, and clearly laid out the work they were going to do, and why. When weather and scheduling issues prevented work on the second day, they sent a double team on the third to make sure everything got done within the scheduled time. In general, the workers took good care. The exterior siding that was removed for injection was cleanly replaced, though some shingles that were already damaged or waterlogged were a little worse off. Despite all the dust that comes with blown cellulose, there were only a few traces inside. They also made sure our cats didn't get out. During the course of the job, they also found that there was already some wall insulation in one section of our house, and only charged us for the work done."

Roland came in and quickly spotted the problem areas. He assured me that the could fix these problems immediately. He used a combination of rearranging existing batts, blown-in fiberglass and spray foam to seal the attic space, over the course of two visits. He's extremely personable and always called me back or answered the phone right away."

"This is the second time I have used MA Design and Construction for a project in my house. Both times were great. For the most recent job, they framed up a partially finished basement, added carpet, leveled the ceiling, added a door and electrical outlets and insulated and painted the walls. The finished product looked great. I have found them super easy to work with - they are always very responsive to any questions that I have and they are great about communicating. "Outstanding Experience

We bought the house in 2008 knowing that clapboard was in need of replacement, as it was pitted, rotting and in general horrible shape.  I did a lot of reach on what was out there, and gravitated to Hardy Plank, as it has a tremendous durability rating and warrantee, even if it was a bit more expensive in the short run.  I also did a lot of research on certified installers, including reaching out to the Hardy Plank company for a recommended installer.  They put me in contact with Pro Home.

I put Pro Home through the ringer with 2 other bids, and it became very clear that not only did Pro Home (Eric) have the experience; he had the work ethic and professionalism I was expecting.  The personal commitment from Pro Home was outstanding, and consistent throughout the entire process.  His crew was quiet, respectful and very talented throughout the entire process. 

Besides working in very difficult weather conditions (the ice storm of 2008 L ), they refused to let anything slide.  There were several occasions where Eric was not completely satisfied on how something was looking and he immediately corrected the issue (even when I thought it was very minor and fine to leave as is).  The crew cleaned up every day, and even came back in the spring, long after the job was done, to clean up anything that they might have missed.

We were so enthralled with his work, In the middle of the job, we asked him to do additional painting work in the spring on our deck. This has been an outstanding experience, and I?m looking forward to working with Pro Home again.

I was very nervous going into this project, because my home dates back to the 1830's and I didn't want to loose any of the charm or character while at the same time I wanted the energy savings and ease of use of newer products. Jeff explained what my options were, and the pro's and con's of each, and helped me to make an informed decision. My windows now function and look beautiful, my siding is vinyl but you would never know by looking at it and there is energy saving insulation under it, my roof doesn't leak anymore, and I have an extra room off the kitchen! Jeff, Bruce and the rest of his crew were on time, finished in a timely fashion, cleaned up when the job was finished and kept me informed throughout the process.
